I'll have to see the protocols but I think agree with placements. Only 3 points between a very messy Hanyu and a sightly less messy Chan (including their SP performances).

Honestly, I am a-okay with the podium placements. Happy for all three medalists, but especially so for Reynolds!

Chan has very impressive technical skills but imho still lacks charisma, showmanship, personality, pizazz, interpretation. Boring and bland. There's no "X Factor" like there is with YUZU.

I could not disagree more.

You know my Mom lives in a very Bible Belt area, and being the nice Irish Catholic woman she is, she will listen to all the Born Agains coming to her door trying to convert her. That is, until they start criticizing other religions. In which case she tells them, "If you have to boost your beliefs by criticizing others, it doesn't say much for your beliefs does it?"

This is a COMPETITION, y'know, where skaters are judged on their own merits and against each other. What we're doing on this forum is no different than what the judges do.
