err... i don't recall the time stamp... i looked at the time of the post and kinda did the math. I think they may have been third after the warm up. It is a Pink Panther number... and the costumes are very on point. She was in a Aliona Savchenko like pink unitard and his was based on Steve Martin's Clouseau costume.

Impressive how he went into that first spin with his leg held so high up!

This music though doesn't seem to be doing the trick for me in this particular instance.

Shaquille Davis: Waiter costume WITH A TURQUOISE SWEATER VEST. YES. TEAM TURQUOISE SWEATER VEST. And he uses Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E instead of Buble's. You, Sir, you have yourself a new fan. 60.85 6th. It doesn't matter. Sweater vest is all that matters

Chase Belmontes: Gray ombre top, silver rhinestones at hem and boatneck collar. Movie soundtrack? Something you might hear Clint Massel come up with. I have to admit, my eyes are sorta glazing over the skating. This whole men's comp look like it was raided by Murky Dismal. Which I guess makes Shaquille Buddy Blue. 52.72

I found Chase's program to be a bit awkward. I think it looked like he was inside his head the whole time and maybe he is skating a tad above his actual skill level. It's not an insult but he sort of was trying to do things that seemed out of his particular comfort zone and it seemed to frustrate him or at least that's how it came across to me.

Alexander Bjelde: Black sheer button down, unbuttoned but not enough for Team Deep V- might give him a probationary membership. The resolution's not good enough to see if he has waxed his chest, if so it's automatic full membership. Blues guitar program. Nice expression, no major errors that I caught. 58.75

I like this program for Alex, but then again I generally like his music choices.

Oh, I wasn't talking about Shaquille's skating. He's just the only damn person in this competition that's worn any color. And he chose the King over the bubble.

Alex Johnson: Our first official member of Team Deep V for the 2016-17 season. Wearing- what else- all black. Is it a flamenco costume? Who can tell, because it's literally black on black :scowl:. Bamboleo by the Gypsy Kings. Psuedo-flamenco. I think I'll like the program better once he has more practice with it. 67.36

Roman Sadovsky: Y'all know what color. Silver sparkle swirls, weak deep v which is either made better or worse by the popped collar. Speaking of pops :hopelessness: there goes that combo. It's Roman, so everything else is amazing except that maybe stumble(?) on the SS. 64.37

It's amazing how much Roman has grown physically in the past year. I hope he gets the growth spurt figured out soon because I think there is a lot to like in his skating.

Laurent Guay: I know beggars can't be choosers, but that dark red top is just too dark for me to count as a color, especially with all the black lace down the front. No, you know what? I know how to fix this. That's not dark red- it's dark hot pink :yes: And just like that, the costume is amazing. Spanish inspired movie soundtrack. Butt spin. 56.19
