2016 Skate Detroit

I do wished that the program carried that character since it's a wee bit lacking especially at first minute.

Yeah. The voiceover is a little weird and for like a few seconds it's was a weird combo of Elvis and Star Wars. The cuts sound a little.....weird. I think the music cuts need a bit of reworking. But there looks like there can be potential.

Alex Johnson
-a lovely skater and an amazing spinner but have inconsistent jumps
-he has a better spiral than some of the ladies

D Kulenkamp
-smh at your music choice
-love how they emphasized the spread eagle as a main focus

Keegan Messing
-Pink Panther with background effects
-woo-hoo a 4T! and a 3A
-looks like he was working on his jumps; lots of amplitude and speed
-ooh fancy jazz restaurant music
-back to jazzy spy music
-lots of saves on wonky jumps but no falls
-he's prolly gonna win this
-

Keegan.....wow I don't know he saved some of those jumps. But he definitely looked like he had a lot of fun. and YASSSS for keeping the Pink Panther FP from last season!

Great improvements from Keegan! Maybe some touch ups on the choreo but he's showing great shape especially at this time

EP Celestino
-sombre violin music
-soundhound say 'Invierno porteno' but may include other pieces
-love his step sequence; matches the ups and downs of the music
-jumps aren't cooperating with him

If he gets 2nd place......because Patrick will win Canadian Nationals unless he WD for some reason.

Yeah, I meant what are the chances of his getting that 2nd spot? Who is his competition? Nicolas is staying in Juniors, Nam has to make a huge comeback, as does Kevin... What's Roman doing? Could Keegan make it?

Tim Dolensky
-soundhound says 'Diferente' by gotan project but includes other pieces
-an amazing 4T; pity on the fall
-spread eagle galore
-beautiful 3A combo
-good 3lo comeback after a fall
-surprisingly the voice over is working well
-needs some sharpening up and intensity but the program has potential

Like Okay. Well of we don't know how much since the Spring Gardena Trophy 3 months ago how much Kevin has improved. Though (And I found this on the BC/YK page for upcoming competitions...Okay I'll post it on his fan fest thread after I finish this post) that he's doing one of the summer competitions for BC/YK section in mid-August. But literally that's all I know. Cause of course Kevin rarely posts stuff, we don't know of course how he's improving (Minus that he got new skates. But that doesn't exactly say anything).

From what it looks like here, Keegan is on the right path. But of course we all worry about skaters peaking too early. Nicolas, well we saw what happened last season. Was decent in the JGP and won silver at the JWC. So who knows. Roman....does he have a consistent 3A yet? Nam, honestly when I compared his scores from the GP in the 2014-2015 and the 2015-2016 season (Yes I actually went and compared the scores), there wasn't a decrease. In fact there was a slight increase in scores from his two GPs from one season to the next. So I don't know to be honest what happened to Nam last season. Hopefully Nam can be spicy again.

And the 2nd spot is literally going to be like fighting for the last water bottle around and there's no other water source around for a bit aways or for some time....okay that sounded very windy, but you get the point. Unlike the USA, where the men's #1 changes from time to time, basically for the last 8 years (Well minus the season-long break Chan took), the #1 Canadian had constantly been Patrick Chan. Which basically meant a fight for the silver medal.

I feel like I want to do some math now.....but I don't feel like it and plus I need to buy a new graphing calculator since mine broke....well it WAS almost 7 years old.
