2016 US Nationals Senior Men SP

This has been a pretty good men's competition. I really like Zhou's interpretation but he needs to skate faster.

Did they just say ice resurface? Sweet, I can vacuum! And mop!

Vincent Zhou~ playing the role of phenom with quad, triple-triple out of cantilever with arm variation, and 3A. He expresses well through his body, but it doesn't quite reach his face. That will come- he is only 15. Black one-piece costume with silver, white, and gray detail. Violin music over a trap/techno beat. Good music for him.

They are not there yet artistically but atleast the future of the U.S men technically is looking good, unlike ladies...

Hmm. How about we watch the final 2/3 of the short programs, the free skate, and then decide who is going to score highest?

Truthfully I didn't say he would or wouldn't score highest. I have no idea where he'll place. My point was simply that for a program with 2 quads and a 3A, that was not a very high score and it's one that has been matched or exceeded in international competition by skaters whose hardest jump is a 3A. That's all.

Did we know Vincent would be going for the quad in the SP? Much respect for that, even with the underrotation. I reeeeally hope he works on his speed in footwork and spins - I can't say the low PCS was undeserved.
