I don't think it was a matter of commitment or asking, but that she assumed he wouldn't survive two cycles.

No they gave (separate) interviews and both agreed she asked him if he'd commit to 2 more cycles and he said no- he was committed for one more but couldn't see 8 years ahead necessarily. If he'd said yes who knows what she would have done (maybe the same if you're right, maybe not if she was totally above board and sincere in all her reasoning) but they both agree on the fact that this is how it went, at least when they speak publicly about it.

Now for my nerves. I so want Lubov and Dylan to skate well. There is something about her that makes me want good things for her. I also love watching her skate when she lands her jumps.

Is it wrong that as a Canadian I'm rooting for Sui and Han to win? I didn't root for Patrick either. And tonight I'm hoping for Ashley or Evegenia. And for Anna to survive the FS without having a collapse.

Nope!!! I am Canadian and pulling for the Russians here, as well as Ashley, Anna, and Evgenia to do well in the FS.

Thanks to NanaPat and tulosai for answering my question. Still think that Moore-Towers made a stupid decision. Their team had so much potential. I liked them even more than D/R.

It'd be a personal disaster for me (and I'm sure lots of others), because S/H will definitely be sent and then one of my 2 favourite Chinese teams - either P/Z or Y/J - are going to be left off the team. I swear to God, if Y/J get left off the team 3 FRIGGIN YEARS IN A ROW, I'm gonna go mental :ddevil:
