I'm sad that ppl keep forgetting about Anastasia Kostyuk when it comes to mentioning rising stars of russia/panova when alena & ksenia are often mentioned. Kostyuk placed 4th at Russian Nationals younger age last season just after the big 3 (tarakanova, shcherbakova and trusova), not to mention that she used to be the leader of the 04 pack when they were still doing their doubles (oh maybe that doesn't count anymore but just saying) she may not be progressing as fast as the other 3 but she's still a big talent so why always count her out???

Wrong. After Open Moscow Cup there is no hype about Alena. She is slow and URs almost all of her jumps. Ksenia, on the contrary, shows great skating skills and good jumps. She lack of expression a bit, but it's matter of time. What about Nastya, she is also very pleasant girl, but she doesn't participate at current competition. At Moscow Open Cup she was ahead of Ksenia somehow. But I really liked the judging there. Very strict. It's much better than when skaters for nothing get 60 (120) points or higher.

So, as expected, Kurakova won FP and competition (127,16:68,79+58,40), Nugumanova 2nd in FP (116,87:58,71(1B)+58,16), Sinitsyna even 4th (114,42:60,02(1B)+54,40) after Pavlova (114,67:62,59+52,08).

And why they changed Ksenia's dress? This beautiful dress suited her very well. The new one is not so good.

Pavlova without 3-3 combo with strange body position in the air on the jumps is ahead of Sinitsyna. Ugh.

Anyway, 3rd place overall - it's okay.

The athlete can receive more than one bonus in one program.

I must say that i liked this Bonus Points system for new season. Even for spins. This encourages the athletes to work more on spins, as well as forcing judges to rate spins more accurately. Looks like the federation decided that spins at their skaters, on average, not as good as it could be. As for bonus for ultra-C, here without comments: this clearly should be encouraged and supported.
