Tukhtamysheva is udmurt, not Zagitova. And Romania has nothing to do with the Slavs..you are wrong.. And we Hungarians came from Asia but we have nothing to do with the Slavs, too. WE don't understand very different language

Am i missing something?
Wasn't Plushenko school very expensive? and Serafima's family not so wealthy?
Anyway this might actually be a good move for her, hope for the best.

the right decision was to send trusova, tarakanova, kostornaya and panenkova to events with rika and eunsoo. they all can defeat them and clear the way to the final for other russian girls.
but rusfed don't follow the grand scheme, they don't understand that it's a war for supremacy, and you should atack the enemy with your best forces.
honestly, i want to see rika and eunsoo in the final, it's not gonna be so interesting to have russian nationals all over again.
sasha should defeat some international names in the final on her way to glory

Plushenko gives grants to the poor pupils.. he not only works with them for free but he pays accommodation, medical treatment, and medicine for the talented but poor skaters
Beautiful skating as always!
I guess it's even good for her that nobody sees her as a favorite. She won't feel the pressure, and can easy and calm preparing for the GP stages.Looking forward to see Plushy at Russian Nationals 2018 coaching Serafima!
Good to know, i think that Serafima is still a great skater and she can return to her old form, it's just a matter of confidence.

Not justwith Sima. Vladimir Samoylov also his student he will compet at nationals, too.. He will compete in Italian JGP tow weeks later

You had experience what did the Russian media with Yulia Lipni who are a cute, young, beautiful lady..Can you imagine what did the media with Plushenko over the years, who is a real celebrity, who always wanted to do unexpexted things who was a pioneer in many things? Yana, Plushenko's wife and agent in Russia explained the prices but they didn't care about it..They shouted and repeated the most expensive price only ! because they can make scandal with it. And Plushenko isn't that person who explains something again and again..He said something what is the truth but he doesn't care about the stupidity, envy and the haters.
One thing is very important. They have a smaller ice rink as the normal his tudent were in Novogorsk before the competition. But Plushenko will solve the problem. He will build a new ice rink soon. He negotiates about the territory.
I've heard he said very rude things about Eteri and Zhenya after moving to Plushy. Also, he has no talent, and can't skate clean programs. At the last competition he won against 13-14 yo boys. What an achievement.
I wish Plushy will leave him. This character doesn't deserve to be coached by him.

Don't forget about Mako and You! Mako already has 11 points. If she will manage to beat Sonya and You, and get 13 points, then with 24 points she will have not bad chances to get to the final (instead of Eunsoo, Nastya or Rika).

It seems Plushy and his team coach Vova seriously.. My Russian friend said Vova is talented but very inconsistent. And I really believe Plushenko is the person who can raise him as a person. Plushenko is strict coach especially with the boys. Yes, in the last competition he won against young guys but he received good marks and he landed in good 3A , 4S and he tried to do 4F! He landed in perfect 4F in training.
I hope Plushenko's students feel this:

The chances of her leaving SPB and her boyfriend to go train with a still unproven coach in Moscow are extremely slim. And she would still have to deal with puberty no matter where she trains. Sima's situation is different - she is older (past the worst of puberty), not in the national team and she has nothing to lose at this point. I very much hope Plushenko can help her and make her competitive again but I just can't with all these silly kneejerk responses that everyone should just change their coach to Plushy or Tutberidze and it will solve all their problems. Plushy has not proven himself yet (I believe in him in the longterm, but he is literally just getting started), there is no more room at the inn at Eteri's school. Sure, maybe Alisa will want to change coaches sometime down the road. If/when she's ready, then she will. But "just change coaches!" doesn't magically fix everything. See: Yulia, Elena, Sima with the last 2 coaching changes, etc.
And he is a very competitive person so he will want to prove himself, which means he will try really hard to get some results out of her. Alternatively, she could go to Urmanov. Urmanov seemed to help Lipnitskaya get back her jumps and fix her technique. The SP she did at the nationals after just a few months of being with Urmanov was brilliant.

This comment is completely true!! I've obviously never worked with Plushy but, he's legend and I can only imagine what the parents think when they see their child skating around with Evgeni Plushenko..
All he did was walk by me and I almost fainted. Even if the younger students don't really understand who he is, he is already their teacher, friend, and mentor. Fortunately, they will have these clips of their younger days to look back on when they get older. If they should reach their dream and win an OGM, I'm sure these clips will be on every talk show appearance they make. They'll be a wonderful memory for these skaters to look back on.
