I didn't say "messy program", I said "messiest skater of Eteri's group".
 
A little warm-up before the free programs of JGP:

To all, who's interested to see (like me) the future stars/superstars of Russian/World ladies figure skating, I highly recommend to watch this event (you should rewind about one/two hours of the stream now, and more later).

Amazing programs. Cute kids. And the great talent.

This competition has just ended. I'd say the last girl has a really bright future. Judging by her style and backloading I have no idea from which group she is. :laugh: I have no doubt she'll be the next girl from Eteri's group which will land a quad jump. Also, there are many other very talented girls, one of them has beautiful spins.

I wanted to share another link from the previous day with the short program, but it disappeared somewhere. One hour ago I could watch it, and now it's gone. :( I guess the same fate awaits the current stream.

But why? i mean she had few mistakes on the jumps, and third place isn't enough to get the second spot, but the rest of the program was fine (spins and steps are better than last season) and there is still the FS!

Don't understood this in the wrong context. Mishin seen that she was worse than some others girls - and immediately told her about it, even before scores was announcements. This is the most correct approach - analysis and work on errors.

What's the occasion? Evegnia looks cool and very comfortable, and Alina looks a little terrified. Hope nerve would not hold Alina back this season.

as I understand it has nothing to do with this season programs.
Maybe in the future. or For EX and show...
 
Sofia Samodurova wins!!!!! And I find it funny that after her short program, Mishin told her that she'd already lost; and then she goes out there and wins! So happy for her.
 
I guess RusFed won't send Sonya just right to the next stage. So we will see her in Italy. I really hope Alena will skate in Poland, and if she will win there, she will replace Nastya Gulyakova, and will skate with Sonya in Italy.
 
And I should end to watch figure skating... At JGP Minsk I had a feeling that Sasha will fall at 4S - and it happend. The same feelings were today, I thought Nastya will fall - and it happend... :(

About Sonya... I almost cried with her in the KnC... :sad4: She is so light and pure person... I'm very happy for her...

Nastya was so nervous, it was pretty obvious. I think Eteri and Daniil will find right words for her.
 
Well, it looks like Eteri's girls are not that consistent. I'm really scared for Panenkova next week. Can she skate 2 clean programs and secure her place in the Final?

Don't be afraid. As far as I remember, she was clean in previous seasons.
