No, Polina didn't change her music, but they did add that stupid sound effect just to remind everybody who is the choreographer

The music did change. They cut short the horrible rendition of Chopin nocturne that previously droned on for the entire first half, and replaced it with something generic but slightly less boring. Net net it was an improvement even with voice at the beginning. And Polina's did what she could with the lackluster material given to her. Well done!

Skate America is the weakest event so I think she can even win there. Whereas Sostkova will have a difficult event in France, meeting Zagi, Osmond, Mai and Liza.

agree, at 210 point her score is already ahead of Sotskova.
at SA she will only face Satoko, Ashley, Daleman and Sakomato, all beatable if she is clean.

She's not already ahead cause Sostkova was second if I remember correctly. But she has many chances to win Skate America

Just like Skate Canada there won't be any gifts for Polina Tsurskaya or any other russian skater, as always, but if she skates the way she did today (so basically clean), it should be enough.

Viktoria Vasilieva is just an amazing figure skater. The only thing which annoys me it's her programs and stupid choreo, which makes her look too juniorish. And again - what a pity. She also is able to win any JGP stage. But she just couldn't get there. Because of some skaters which should be in the seniors, and not stealing juniors' spots.

Well, that dress is a little bit heavy for her , but still it suits her very well GP France is coming, the fight of the black swans. I bet on Alina and her beautiful dress! :yes:

Nah. Off ice Liza is amazing, her dances and body movements are awesome, she is the best Russian dancer especially on Eteri's girls jazz background, her practice step-sequence is also very nice. But all of her programs are the same crap as 3-4 years before! Just rewatch her Eurosport EX when she was 12yo and skated at Once Upon a December. Her choreo is still the same! So Vika should have won. So sad.
