For me it doesn't make sense. First of all, it's hard to predict what is going to happen in 2-3 years with each skater. Secondly, in 2-3 years the Russian Fed will have the juniors coming into seniors. They can give the other skaters opportunities to compete in other types of competitions, they already did that, and I think it's pretty fair.

And its not even next year yet =)
Next year during GP, we will see how the "spread the wealth" people will claim that giving one spot to each lady is better than guaranteeing some 2 spots.

So, two of three of my prophecies were realized. Let's hope the last one (about junior ladies final) won't be realized.
Really disaster program from Polina. I thought she is a consistent skater, and what was happened at her first Russian Cup stage was an incident. Sigh. So Wakaba is in. From juniors world also big news, Kihira landed two triple axels and already got many prayers that she finally will stop Russian girls, because nobody wants them to always win. And it will be pathetic situation like with junior pairs, I guess it was 2013-2014 season, where in the JGPF were five Russian pairs and one Chinese. And guess who won? That's right, Chinese pair.
It looked really pathetic, like: army of Russian pairs was defeated by one Chinese pair. If Kihira will land two triple axels, I guess the same situation we'll see among the girls.
Also, 5th December will be officially announced ban of Russian Olympic team. And 7th December will start JGPF and GPF.
You feel that atmosphere in the air? Fear, pressure, stress? What an exciting week is coming.
Big pressure on Alina's and Maria's shoulders. What a stress. Another advantage for their enemies. But as far as I know, Tsar of Russia and mr. Bach are good friends. I guess they already discussed all details. So I expect tomorrow the permission for Russian ladies to compete at Olympics under white flag. But better sooner than later, to prevent any stress for girls.

Nice try, Carolina! You just want to compete with Radio, Mario and Polina to will beat them all and will take again since 2013 year title of European Champion. But nope! Won't happen!

I have a question and sorry if it has already been asked: since Russia as a country was banned from 2018 Olympics but individual athletes may still compete under the Olympic flag, will Russia be able to compete in the team event?

So if there is a neutral team is there one spot, two spots or three spots for the ladies. This is kind of sad. Can someone explain to me does Evgenia, and two other Russians do they still get to compete or does that mean Japan and Ashley might duke it out for gold now along with Carolina and Osmond?
