After Saturday's supershow, someone of Evgenia's/Alina's fans will definitely cry, because one of these two beautiful ladies will be defeated. I prepared for you the sad song for that. You will feel sad and lonely, but this song will help.

And what shall I do if I'm fan of both?
The positive moment is that no matter who wins it feels like they are both N 1 now.

Unless there are better proofs than the above stated post I don't believe this conspiracy. If Eteri did not want Zagitova to outshine Medvedeva she could just do a couple subtle hints to ruin Alina's psychological state. I am sure before big competitions emotional condition of athletes is like an open nerve. When your goddess-coach says that you are not very welcome to win, come on, let's not go into this.

I was tired of reading the stories about "evil Eteri" as the season started. Now they become even more ridiculous...saying that, if Alina bombs her DQ I shall agree that she might be under some psychological pressure the nature of which might be Eteri's attitude to her.
 
Seems like most people either didn't notice it or didn't care enough to discuss, but Carolina left Mishin right before Olympics. The coach who brought her back to the top. Seems like not the best way to show one's gratitude... What do you think?

May be it's not that bad, but the shade...
 
Of course Eteri loves every of her girls. How she can't? Girls need a love. But a special love: making them die on the trainings, and then getting them a little hug. That's what I call right and correct love! :agree: And you all know the results of this love.

But! Eteri's upsetting might understandable only because of this:

1) Zhenya is 2time Russian, World, European and GPF champion. World record holder. And now we see a younger girl who can reach Zhenya. I mean, so many titles and still uncertainty about Olympic gold medal. Like she's building a champion and suddenly someone else was appeared. More years of trainings, more years of titles, it's not question about of whom she loves more at all. It just, well you know... I love both girls, but to me Zhenya deserved Olympic title. And how she will feel being unbeatable so long, and suddenly lose at Olympics. Eteri, I guess, feel the same. Moreover, she went through all of that along with her.

2) Alina's consistency is still questionable. As I mentioned above, she skated clean her FP only at GP France, what to say about her SP - we first time saw it clean. So, if Alina is going as more obvious favorite than Zhenya, and Alina will do a mistake at Olympics - it will cost higher for her, than for Zhenya. With mistake on 2A Evgenia can get 150 as we saw at GP Russia. Alina? I'm not sure, and Eteri might be as well.

So these are two main reasons which can exist.
 
But hell... I wanted to place a bet during the Olympics on Evgenia, I expected on her 1.3-1.4 coefficient. But now I guess there will be about 1.8-1.9 for both Evgenia and Alina. I need to think about it. [emoji848]

Did she say it herself? That she was upset? Does this person is her BFF and knows how does Eteri feel or what she was thinking about? NO? so It's just ridiculous.... and there is nothing to talk about.

All this hype and hate.... I just don't get it.....
It's disgusting... Why even bring these nonsenses to the normal treads.........
It's the same hype that some people tried to bring about Brian, Yuzuru and Javi....

Well, some people openly ask questions in the competition threads why Russians are competing at all - they should be banned. I would ban those posters together with trolls propagating ideas that Zagitova is not worth more than 5-6 in pcs. But I understand that the leadership here is trying to maintain "the balance". Then the Russian ladies just should keep on delivering stellar performances and let those writers write about their unhappinness.

no... There's just one person she hates... it's Eteri. that's it.
Doesn't matter who... First.... she wrote filth about Yulia, then Evgenia, last season she wrote the same about Alina's second place at RN and her programs... She's going to continue in the same spirit.

Eteri's upset most likely was, because after Alina's skate she had to consult Laurine or something like that and probably she was trying to speak/get agreement with the board? ... that's my impression...
