Qualifying rules for Russian Cup:
Skater has points for places: 1st - 18 points, 2nd - 16 and so on, 9th - 2, 10th - 1 point.
If two or more skaters have the same points, tie-breaking is sum of scores.

Ouch, this is not the same points as ISU GP? So all my lists are wrong

I might be wrong but I'm almost certain that 1st - 15 points, 2nd - 13 points etc. Where can we check this out?

Does the grouping have anything to do with the order they would compete, or simply practice times?

I think it's the order for the short program but I might be wrong.
Typically the short program is a draw and then the free is ranked.

Draw will be 20 Sep 20:00 Moscow time. Draw for SP - not for warm-ups, common for all skaters.

This is just hearsay. For all we know they are training together without a problem, but maybe are not ready for a bigger stage yet.
