Ohh that blue dress... sigh..

Heh. Not sure if anyone else noticed other than you and me, but Ashley Shin must be a fan of Yu-Na Kim, if not her skating, at least her costumes. Her dress is the exact same shade of blue as Yu-Na's 2010 Olympic Gershwin dress. :luv17: (And a quick look at Ashley's icenetwork bio shows Ashley in what is a red replica of that same dress: http://web.icenetwork.com/skaters/profile/ashley_shin )

Shame about that really hard fall on the tano 2A. :(

Ashley Shin: So, I guess NOT skating to Frank Sinatra's "My Way" and just Vivaldi instead. Okay, well, nice height to get her through the 3F+2T(rippon) and 3Lz to follow (looks like a bad edge). Fall on attempt at the Tano Axel. Not much attention given to the phrasing of the music, though she hits some nice lines.

This music is decidedly NOT Frank Sinatra (Four Seasons?)...where'd the IN people get that from?

Donald trump season info. 'My way' is to be sung at tomorrow's Trump INnauguration.

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain...

:palmf:

Gracie, please just have a solid skate. It doesn't have to be lights out. Just be confident!

The fall on 2A from another Ashley is unfortunate, but it is good to see that even lower tier skaters in the U.S. can present pretty decent skates with good edge qualities and interpretations.
