As much as we like Sean, he needs to learn to not to lift choreo from other skaters. This program is too reminiscent of Flatt's from 2011.

I was getting strong Paul Wylie vibes. Which isn't a bad thing, but.

But so was Flatt's EofE from 2011. I think it was the most relaxed we had seen Flatt skate....full on, with nothing holding her back. It is inspirational music, no doubt. But, just too many choreographic moments from Flatt's program that showed up in Sean's program. May have been unintentional...but.....

Eyyyyy if you aren't in the U. S. and are watching supporting American skaters cheers to you! I feel like this doesn't get said enough because skating is such a global sport but it's really cool how everyone tunes into each other's nationals when you think about it.

I agree! Japanese Nats. as well as the really spectacular gala always seems to fall on Dec. 25...it's perfect timing. The thought of watching Mao and Daisuke would get me out of bed faster than any presents ever would LOL

Melnyk: Thin landing on the 3F, only got a 2T out of it (looks unrotated too...). Only a double axel. Much better 3Lz. All three jumps were in the first half. Spins and turns in footwork are relatively slow. Neat series of spread eagles in the transition. Unfortunately, nothing really jazzy about this routine apart from some snappy fingers. Yawn.
