yes i think so too, also maybe the doubled sal is because of the rippon? she doubled her sal last season in her first int competition (ACI).
 
I think she has no problem with rippon sal since she landed it at all her comps but ACI last season.

thats what i mean, she had consistency issue with it at the start of last season which may happened now too, but over the time im sure Mai wil get it consistent like last year.

It's not a consistency issue but more like a health issue. She has too many to effect her trainnings. I'm more worry about her PCS issue TBH. Even with good results, her PCSs have been unsurprisingly low.

It would be sad if she get again 64 PCS in GPs with clean programs.

Uhhhhhh....scary! What was that? What the heck is this music even about?? Fallen angels and heaven and hell and stuff? I wonder if that’s the theme of her program.

Wow!!! This is great! I can not wait to see this on a full sheet of ice. Her use of her arms throughout the whole thing is very easy on the eyes. Of course the Rippon is done so well and adds a lot but the whole use of them to create a nice projection of the music to the audience throughout this performance is very effective.

Potential to be my favorite program this season even. I loved watching her compete last year and getting to know her.

I've watched Rika's FS so many times since she first performed it at FAOI. It's so beautiful & different! if she can make her jumps consistent (and maybe make her arms movements less sharp and more fluid in my opinion) then she's gonna have a great season! so excited to see her live at IDF! go RIKA :hap10:
