Exactly.I She was deflated in both tech and PCS.
i dont get why Nana getting low GOE on her jumps, even her spin. that one handed biellman in layback spin was so good! she need work in PCS though like Shiika. Nana PCS department not much improved from last season imo. if she's clean she's still a threat
i think Shiika Yoshioka might be leading junior lady next season, she only need to emote more to get higher PCS and try to get higher GOE on her jumps but beside that she's good! Her consistency also wasnt bad. This is why i have faith in her, there are many junior ladies who can do beautiful 3-3, even -3Lo combo etc, but mosf of them can't put it together in competition.

Ting is better performer here, she falls 3 times and that disrupt performance but she did deliver the performance and stay really comitted to the music, doing all the hand gesture and choreo. Nana only popped salchow but you can clearly see she didn't really pay attention to detail and didn really feel the music, her expression too a bit lacking imo. Idk its all subjective in the end i guess. Nana jumps and spins was so underscored and i agree with that though.Even if Nana is not that great on the artistic side, she was underscored compared to some others. Ting Cui fell 3 times and still got better PCS than Nana.
I don't have the same opinion about Cui's program. But you're right. It's all subjective.
Nana will surely be in the last JGP. I just hope that she will skate clean, so even if she get low scores she will have no regrets.
I think that more than refinement or performance ability, she lacks it factor. Like Mai. No matter how consistent, good jumper, good spinner, how clean her program can be she's always in 60-65 PCS zone, 130-140 zone. She lacks that little something more.
Nana is the junior Mai.
And it's sad.

So true about Mai... so sad. She needs a packaging makeover...
She needs the program of her life. The program which will tell to judges "hey i'm here! So give me the marks i deserve!". And for that, she first needs to stop to go to David Wilson.
