I forgot about Victoria Vasileva , the Russian Cup Final bronze medalist! Is she remaining junior? I think she should stay junior for next season.

Calling people out for their hypocrisy specifically is a good way to get banned on this forum. Or so I've heard. :shock2:

A bit late but congrats to Evgenia for making the podium in biggest competition of the season, for the 4th season in a rowQuite an achievement in general, but especially considering the Russian ladies field.
Next season will be wild.

The Russian Figure Skating Fed better submit Liza's name or I. Will. Riot. They already threw her under the bus this season, they owe her.
By the way, it would be interesting to consider which layouts of programs with or without 3A can compete with the typical program of Shcherbakova and Trusova this season. And what preferences of PSC / GOE are needed in this case in order to compete on equal terms?
I think that Rika with 3A combo and Elizabeth with 4S combos can compete with them on equal terms given the difference in the PSC.
Rika also has a fairly consistent 4S, and an inconsistent 4T. Trusova brought about the quad revolution, but she isn't going to get much time to enjoy it as a senior. In fact, not only her PCS but her tech score may fall below Rika.

I can't imagine that they would not. With a 3A she may well be the most competitive of Alina-Zhenya-Sofia. I don't think she was ready to go this year, (because of the illness) and it was wonderful to see Zhenya skate well and get a medal. But next year might be a different story with Rika and 3A. (I do hope though, that Liza puts in more work on the skating skills, choreography etc.)
The requirement they set since after euros was a whoever wins the cup of Russia will go to world's, and zhenya won so they send her. Nothing wrong there.I would hope so, but I don't trust the Russian Figure Skating Fed one bit. They could decide anything...and failing that there's this Coaches Council I didn't know about until recently, they so completely choose Zhenya over Liza to go to World's...maybe they want her gone with all the talent ready to go.
That's simply not true, rusfed specifically released a statement that they are considering other results from the season etc. Why else would there have been a vote if it would've been clear? The requirement they set since after euros was a whoever wins the cup of Russia will go to world's, and zhenya won so they send her. Nothing wrong there.
