Then why would have they made two identical costumes of slightly different sizes in the first place? I find this whole "Alena appearing as Alina's substitute" thing very confusing.
I agree with you. Its a Russian mystery!

Why dnt Russian girls get coaches frm USA and Canada? I hoped some Eteri Girls train with Brian Orser to up their skating skills and choreo.

Well he did train Javi and Yuzu as total packaged skaters who have both artistic and technical brilliance. Im all for Eteri girls. I l
good joke
Why should they want to go to someone like Brian.. Who haven't trained any good girls since Kim....

Root for Eteri girls only. But I like americanized Choreos and skating style better than russin choreo. Zagitovas choreo were a bit too rushed for me.
But I suppose Eteri girls do have something in their training regime that makes them stand out and keep dominatin laides field.
Dnt knw how to create a new thread. It would be interesting topic to discuss, i mean "why orser doesn't have any good female skaters now" when he has the best male skaters. May be consider creating a new thread in the edge? Could easily turn into bash fests though...
Yuzuru and Javi... that's it.Dnt knw how to create a new thread.
On the other hand most orser students have excellent skating skills and choreo.
Orser is really a good coach to make a rare jewel talent into GOAT or total package material.\

Yuzuru was already pretty much a total package when he joined TCC. Yuna was one in a million talent. I can agree about Javi but behind Javi we have a lot of far less successful skaters. When Elizabet Tursynbayeva joined him many thought she would be capable of challenging raising Russian ladies but so far her best result at Worlds was 9th place. Gabby shined last year in Helsinki but otherwise her results aren't anything to talk about through many hours. Nam Nguyen and Roman Savosin left him not satisfied. I hope that Jun and Stephen will do better but I have mixed feelings about 12 yo training 4Lz (I have the same mixed feelings about Trusova).
I agree about choreo as unfortunately Eteri's camp don't do outsourcing and choreography is just not so impressive. Evgenia should try some training with jumping coach but In this case her choice is Raf not Brian.
Raf is a good jump coach? Based on Nathan Chen??
Yuzu and Javi have some of the most beautiful quads.
I think brian is a good jump coach too.
I jst wnt Zhenya and Zagitova to up their skatin skills and choreo by US style...
Someone posted a Russian competition on You Tube, girls 10 and under. And with all due respect, in MY opinion, the Russian girls, 'ten and under' are pretty far ahead of US skaters in the same age group. You hardly ever see a spin or jump without a transition, choreography is superior, skating skills are far more polished and so on. So really, why don't US skaters travel to Russia? Might be an idea.

Based on Vincent, Nathan, Alexander Abt and Adam.
