I can’t be the only one who thinks Med still has a chance to win Olympic gold right ??![]()
Pretty sure you are the only one i think.
She may even medal, but quads aside, with all the girls who have a correct Lz and can do 3 of them across 2 programs...

No, of course not. Her best chance at an Olympic gold medal was in Korea, but it was not her only chance. She is still an elite skater, and now she's training in an environment that will allow her body to heal.I can’t be the only one who thinks Med still has a chance to win Olympic gold right ??![]()
The entire season in which she was an Olympic gold medalist as well as World Champion? Okay, let's look at that. Which Russian lady can say the same about this entire past season?...that's why you should look at the entire season instead of one competition.
It is still an amazing result indeed, but we all know that if Alina skated as good as she did at the Olympics or the Europeans, she would have won Worlds easily.
I don't like how certain commentators (CBC among all, if i remember correctly Mark Hanretty from Eurosport, and also TSL) pushed the idea that some of these skaters can do certain jumps only with the arms...

So did any Russian speakers watch Anastsiia’s live Insta and did she reveal why she missed Test Skates?

Liza Nugumanova seems to comment a lot in the beginning with her![]()
Med moving to Canada doesn't change the fact that she would still be a Russian vying for a chance at another title, either.
A lot of tired stuff I also already knew about
I'm looking forward to seeing her development with this move to Canada, under Tracy and Brian.![]()
In addition to the personal gold medal, there is also a team gold medal. I think it's quite possible for Zhenya to get the gold in the team.Realistically... small chances. But you‘re certainly not the only one HOPING that Med will get her Olympic Gold Medal. I‘m with you to. Medvedeva for OGM 2022!![]()
Can someone please translate what she said? Why did she miss test skates?
I did see you decided to ignore my response to your question there, though. Wonder why.

I'm guessing at Open Skates on 9 september.More on topic discussion, I'm excited to see Med's programs, choreographed by David Wilson, especially her SP to Oranged Colored Sky. Does anyone know when she will debut her programs?

By the way. There is article about hormones with some inside info from girl who left her coach this spring (Med?). Mentioned stress fracture...

Russian Test skates probably where the federation gives feedback to coaches and skaters on their programs. Break out the popcorn!

But Alina didn't skate well; she choked, and Osmond beat her.
So what? What does what announcers say have to do with whether Osmond is World Champion or not?
To say I don't like the program I understand it, but way to much pantomiming? There is actually only one moment of pantomiming in the beginning and I find it very cool. she is 14 after all not 25. If someone 25 years old done that I would have said yes this is more for EX rather than competitive program. Or maybe I have the wrong definition of pantomiming.

Nobody in Russia is happy about the new rules, i kinda agree with them.
They made arms variations pointless, limit the second half, what's next? only 1 triple-triple? it really feels Figure Skating is regressing.
