2018-19 Russian Ladies' figure skating

http://www.isuresults.com/events/cat03108804.htm entries - she's the only Russian there but good field for ladies (Wakaba, Bradie)

This means that only 3 Russian ladies have no CS assignment as of now

And I'm not sure if Radionova will really want one since she usually doesn't. Maybe we can see Panenkova and Sotskova at Finlandia since it's pretty late compared to the others and gives Panenkova time to get used to her new programs.

Then the post-GP and during-GP ones can go to Gubanova, Gulyakova, Tarusina, Sakhanovich, Mikhailova, Leonova, Nugumanova, etc.

Hehe.....

I just woke up and checked GS and misread the title of this thread and got all excited. I thought it said Statues of Russian Ladies Skating. That would be epic!! Just a big plaza full of everyone’s signature moves carved into stone.

I really need to get coffee into my system before I loggin.:slink:

oh my lord! :drama: why do they do this to me??
I've always wanted someone to skate to this music!!!
And now seeing Alina dancing I think it would be perfect for her!
It could be her EX!
Too bad it's not gonna happen. :sad21:

Probably WAY wishful thinking, but dump the POTO technical program and do THIS.

I really like that idea. And the addition of such a competition could only add to the popularity of figure skating. But... money.

She suggested very good idea there - international tournament based not on countries and slots but skaters rating (similar like they do it in tennis and many other sports) :agree:

people have been suggesting stuff like that for ages.
but meh, thats not going to happen i guess, because feds and isu.

It's amazing how quickly Vaits turned in the eyes of... certain Russian skater's fans from "awful snake who always badmouthing Zh... our favourite skater" to "good and respectful journalist who knows what she is talking about". And same story with K*ola K*ng.

Vaitsekhovskaya is obsessed with the hate of Eteri. It is obvious that those so called fans who see the situation as bad Eteri against good Zhenya will now praize her.

Honestly I'm sure both Evghenia and Eteri have gotten over what's happened and they will politely greet each other in future competitions.

As for the grand prix competition this weekend, the leading Russian ice dance team looked good. Sofia is an eye catcher.

I hope nobody seriously thinks KK is respectful journalist who knows what he is talking about. He is clearly obsessed with Yuna Kim and hates Eteri and is extremely biased

I hope none of the judges take it seriously, but i've to say i laughed so hard at the shift he/she (?) made earlier this year.

The entire season and during the Olympics -> "Evgenia overscored, she thinks she is like Yuna, How dare you?! Flutzzz?11"

Then after she left Eteri for Brian Orser -> "Evgenia real queen they're giving her real programs!!!11"

In general i hate pretty much all the youtube channels that want to expose ISU judging issues, including TSL, because they're soo clearly biased in the way they do it, so the result is so half-baked and biased, just to fit their narrative. (russians overscored,... blablabla)

If you want to do this, that's fine, because there are issues with the judging, but then you should talk about things like lutz edges or underrotations not called for every single skater at the event including your favourites, and not just the ones you hate.
