Also, think about it this way...
Tarakanova can probably beat Kanysheva, Sinitsyna, Valieva, Usacheva etc, and magbe even Liu if she can get a consistent quad. So a world Jr medal and JGPF medal is definitely possible. Even a silver at both those events can basically guarantee two assignments for her debut senior season. Besides, it’ll be 20-21 that she goes to senior in that case, and she still has a season to build up PCS for the Olympics.
I want Nastya to be getting the PCS she deserves too, but let’s face it, that’s got going to happen this season for sure. I think RusFed has some kind of agenda against her or something. This year they’ve got the 3A to take to Jr. Worlds, but next year... Kanysheva, Valieva and Usacheva? That seems like a relatively weak field in comparison to the competition that they’ll get from Liu. So they basically HAVE to send Nastya unless she’s injured or something. And Nastya is consistent enough to get on that podium.
The new youngster trio: Kamila Valieva, Daria Usacheva and Maria Khromykh. Right now they are good. I only know the first two but from what I‘ve seen from them it‘s their flexibility (especially Kamila‘s) that‘s outstanding. Other than that they don‘t seem to have any ultra-c elements, just the “standard“ stuff. Might change in a year, though.
Kamila already skates with more grace and feeling than all but a few senior skaters. And she's, what, all of 12 years old? I have no idea what ultra-c elements they're training with her. But I can see her quickly dominating other junior skaters in PCS, as her performances are already winning over audiences...https://youtu.be/g3-pCoxaDAw. (This might be my favorite program of this season, with the exception of maybe Alena's programs. And she's not even a junior yet.)
Forget the juniors, those over-the-hill matrons. Here come the novices!
She's very lovely to watch, and she has great flexibility. I do, however think that there is no connection to the music as of now, it almost seems like someone put that track over her very beautiful performance. This is in no way an attack btw, she's very lovely to watch and I can imagine her being a great artist kn the futureKamila already skates with more grace and feeling than all but a few senior skaters. When she said she would learn 4F, I was not expecting it to be this fast.

I would hope they are fixing her underrotations first. I think that would be better for AlinaI just noticed...is that Alina in the corner on a fishing pole/harness? Interesting....
Maybe New Year is team Eteri's quad boot camp [emoji23]
