2018-2019 GP Assignments

Thank you so much :thank::ghug: fortunately it was just a powerbank, but it was basically new so I got a bit upset :( I hope Japan will treat me a bit better :)

I am so anxious for the GP assignments though! I pray Yuzu is coming to Europe

I have faith that Japan will treat you better, I have been there multiple times, it’s very safe compare to most part of Asia ;)

If he does, I'll go without hesitation  Grenoble or wherever, I don't care. Everything within 2,000km is fine.

If he indeed comes to Grenoble, you better be quick with the tickets. The arena will sell out in a blink of an eye and the prices went down compared to last year. :D

Precisely because prices came down I don't believe he will be there. Didier wouldn't lose such chance

Thank You :) I've only been to Thailand as far as Asia goes, but I've also been to Guatemala and it was supposed to be extremely dangerous.... and then I got robbed in Italy  Funny thing is I've been to Italy like 5 times and something happened 4/5 times I went, so I guess it's not a lucky country for me :drama:

I know it's too early for tickets and yet I still check every single day :o:

It's a bit off topic, but where can I buy the tickets? Official ISU homepage? I've never been to a figure skating event yet, this would be my first visit :rolleye:

Thank you so much for your quick replies!

Tbh, if I travel all the way down to Grenoble, I want to watch all 4x2 events + gala + practice
(Are there some combo tickets available?)
I'm Yuzu fan in the first place, but I love this sport in general and I want to enjoy every minute

Back to main topic:
Do we know, when the assignments will be announced? Sorry, I'm a bit confused :scratch2:

Supposedly they’re being hashed out now and announced by week’s end, but there’s some uncertainty because we still don’t know what’s happening with the Cup of Not-China. It’s possible the ISU has already made another arrangement and just haven’t announced it yet.

I was in Milan too! I loved the experience so much :) Although it was a bit shadowed by the fact that I got robbed at the venue :(

Sorry to hear this. This type of thing is very unnerving. I was robbed (thru a fine) by the transit police when getting off the Metro. I realize these things happen, but it left me with a really bad feeling. I had to make a conscious decision to work hard at not letting that incident spoil what was otherwise a wonderful experience. Seems like the organizers should have provided more details about how to use the transit system. Oh well!

I call it a Homeless Grand Prix event.

love that the website is only in french so you can guess how to get what you want, wouldn't have expected anything else from france :rolleye:

Okay, I guess I will say it then: you would think they would try a bit harder to make the site understandable for not-French speakers/readers if Hanyu were to come... ;-)

Rostelecom wasn't translated either. Besides, there's a Great Britain flag in the top right corner of the website so the part of it can be translated into English. But not much, 'cause most of the text is not written like text but like a picture, so it can't be copied or\and translated ;(
