Alena is wonderful, I think I fell in love with her today. It’s hard to explain but when she was going into the combo I kind of felt her pain, like she was so Angry and sad she just attacked the lutz with full power. I cried with her at the end

Both were clean, actually. The scoring seems a bit unusual today. I'm glad Alena is in first, but I expected Yelim to be ahead of her.

no both were clean! alena has (well deserved) high pcs that make the difference

Nope: Swiss Ice Skating accepts those scores from either junior or senior comps for Europeans. She is moving up to Seniors after the JGP finishes, though.

I noticed that too. My first thought was that she might be sick. She definitely doesn't look like her usual self.

I'm happy Alena has a high score because I subjectively like her a lot, but you could see how upset she was throughout the rest of the program and I'm disappointed that she is able to lead with a mistake.

Alena is an Eteri girl. Her score are always going to be massive compared to everyone else.
