At the moment I saw them, I was kind of expected that they would start fighting to get the position next to Yuzuru, as once happened four continent last year
, but they were too young for that and an instructor was keeping her eyes on them. no fun:roll5:.

Savchenko/Masso - the gold medal winners in pairs - are the team that also pulled out because of Massot's sickness.I heard on Twitter they and another team (pair or dance can't remember) got sick and had to pull out.
I hope its not the norovirus that was going around earlier

So now Alina is Oly champion... can she accidentally burned her tiger costume?
I grew to like her Tutu somehow (when i showed the performance to my mom she raved about how she looks like a poppy in it). But the ex costume and choreo is just disgusting.
Also.... Evgenia should be skating something like the kukushka number for competitions. It may give her enough edge. I am afraid that people will get bored of her overdramatic skates.... she should show she is capable of doing other styles.

Am not sure what's so special about Russia? Even now you have quite a few countries in Europe where the age of consent is 14 so I don't get it. Heck if you're in Italy and you're 13 and the other party within 3 years of you, it's still legal.
CBC (TV) did not show gala live. They did show several skaters, showing other sports in between. They said they will re transmit today, but from my experience that means big time commercials. I managed to view most of the action live on a Russian stream, but I had to cut the sound due to constant speaking over the music. Today I re watched it on CBC website. It was full, with no cuts and decent commenting. I hate TV stations for not showing the gala live, but that's it. Olympics are over.
