It could be worse. You could be like me and missing the whole thing because of technical difficulties.

Basically, the long HDMI lead running between the computer and the TV has cried "enough"!

That's why I haven't watched the Italian Championships yet. Or the Gala from the GP Final (I forgot about there being highlights on the TV on the Sunday night, and only remembered after the 7 days limit for the On Demand was over).

It's my own fault. I was swapping the lead back and forth from the big TV to a smaller TV during the snooker, so that I could watch the TV table and the computer table side by side. But the smaller TV is badly designed, and they haven't allowed enough space for the plastic moulding of the plug. So, I think I damaged the plug trying to force it in at an angle.

On the big TV, nothing is coming through the long HDMI lead. On the small TV, the picture is going through, but the sound isn't. And I don't fancy watching skating with the picture in front of me in one corner of the room, and the sound behind me in the diagonally opposite corner.

Hopefully I will have everything sorted after Christmas. Because I don't fancy the chances of Eurosport showing Europeans on the linear channels in their entirity.
