2019-20 Russian Ladies' Figure Skating

Zagitova would score higher than Shoma if she competed in men adjusted from her competition today ?

She would have scored higher than all men exc. Shoma last year, it's not surprising. I think it's time to raise the factor in ladies scoring system finally, with the ladies like Tutberidze girls, Rika etc.

I don't know why people think that Alexandra was underscored (we haven't seen the skates yet) because of Alina. Alina has been scored around 155 multiple times that's not something new. For me, a more obvious reason is to keep team Europe's scores relatively close to Japan's, if we assume that they are some kind of score manipulations.

People who are complaining about the scores seems to have forgotten Japan Open 2017. Alina skated clean her Olympic program and only came 3rd. She was a first year senior. Her PCS was also 9 points lower than the winner....Japan Open is about pushing the big stars, and is not ISU-recognized. I'm sure the scores will be different in real GP competitions.

I am very happy that Sasha still won under these conditions. Sasha is the real proof of a skater that takes in her hands her destiny.

I'm also happy for Sasha. But I didn't want to bash Alina with my comment either. We haven't seen the actual skating yet, Alina might have had a phenomenal skate. I just wanted to point out why JO scoring works differently from "real competitions".

Is that Lambiel in the gala being shown live now?
