2019-20 Russian Ladies' Figure Skating

Why do you think so? I am just curious as well.

I guess it‘s just me then but ending a post with “is there a problem?“ sounds a bit passive aggressive to me. But maybe I spent too much time on skating forums.

Oh, how could I even forget about the "passive aggressive" label. Silly me :palmf:

It’s not a label, don’t worry lol. The question just seemed off to me after the useful and informative statement you made. After all, why would there be a problem? I didn’t understand that - that’s why I asked. So, nothing to get - don’t kill me - defensive about.

Anyway, won’t be able to watch but good luck to the Russian ladies at the GPF! :hap10:

I'm really curious about Kamila's quads. If she needs to resign on them due to proper recovery from injury than of course it is wise not to push too hard now. Some people may unpack their crystal spheres and predict her being "done" if she won't win the finals because of that, but it is better to heal now and concentrate for the junior worlds.

What happened? Did you stir the pot again?

Are you posting on more than one skating forum? And if so should we be insulted by that? ;)

I think we are all looking forward to the Grand Prix final and that everyone skates the best they can even unlikely as that is.

Will Liza try the quad - maybe I missed that. She must feel pretty defeated after not making the GP final. You could tell she was hungry after missing worlds again last year. Then she brought it to the WTT. With a good skate she moves ahead of Evgenia I guess in the Russian rankings and maybe Alina? though at this point I think she would be jsut ahead of Evgenia. Maybe Evgenia will find her true love in Canada and marry. Then she can skate maybe for Canada. Nam, Nicolas, Roman are all about the same age as her I believe.

...what?

Well, I do read other forums but I only post here. I‘m loyal to Goldenskate abd you guys here.

As for the rest... I don‘t know why it would be that unlikely. The 4A have been really consistent this season so far and Rika and Bradie (with some exceptions for everyone admittedly) as well. Anna’s landed all of her quads in competition this season, hasn’t she? Sasha as well, other than the 4S. Aliona had one mistake on her 3A alongside a few URs here and there. Alina has not yet fallen in competition and seems relaxed and confident. So, if everyone brings their A game, I‘m sure we‘ll see an amazing competition with many clean skates.

Apparently Sasha has now 5 Quads in her FS. She added the Flip

Well, I do expect a lot with Sasha but I did not expect that. Expert trolling by Tutberidze - showing the 3A on Instagram only to reveal she added the 4F. Unless she whips out the 3A at the next training as well?

What about Anna? Some layout changes for her too?

I did my best to ignore that but now that you‘ve mentioned it, I‘d like to contribute with another “what?!“ as well.
