I do not understand it at all, it has been rampant recently.

do you have a source for this?
Yes, and it’s the one on the top of the podium who dictates these emotions. Anna is just like Alina, humble and modest, but if Aliona would have won today, she would not have felt awkward at all
It’s ok the 3A will win a title, GPF for Alena, Nationals for Anna and Europeans for Sasha.
Who will succeed Alina for the worlds ?
I see the results of RusNats like those:
Shcherbakova to EC and WC
Kostornaya to WC and 1st substitute to EC
Trusova to EC and 1st substitute to WC
Tuktamisheva to WC and 2nd substitute to EC
I'd say if Trusova to be denied to participate in Worlds at may be a medal lost. She usually peaks at spring season.
Although her two teammates were visibly upset, Anna still had every right to show happiness and excitement for her win and I would not think any less of her if she had. However, she chose to keep her emotions subdued around her teammates who obviously did not share her excitement. Personally, I believe that if Alena or Sasha had won, they would've done the same thing.
Wow where did you hear that?
Alyona might be working on a quad, it has been suspected for a while now but she is a bit more cautious about introducing them. She gets a lot of points skating clean I doubt she would have considered risking a quad here when making the team is so important

In her dealings with the media Anna always strikes me as the most talkative yet thoughtful, sharp minded and giving measured and exact answers.

I agree! I remember watching Ted's interview with Anna after she won her first JGP event last year and I was immediately struck by how poised and well-spoken she was, especially in a language that was not her mother tongue (she was speaking English).

it was a crazy situation all the way around. From what I read there are two conspiracy theories: 1) fed made her skate 2) fed made her withdraw
In both cases, fed is the bad guy, whether they made her withdraw or made her skate.
Federation didn’t break her boots, the only culprit here is the ice of Krasnoyarsk and her boots company.
Vande is back! It had to be very awkward for Anna because you just won her second Russian Nationals in a row with an incredible clutch performance for the second year in a row. I feel very badly for Alena. It was all there for her but I guess you made a couple mistakes that cost her. I have not seen the video Sasha crying and I'm not sure I want to see that. So much pressure on this girl I hope Tina can cheer her up.As you can see, feelings do get hurt. Both Sasha and Aliona sad over not winning, and Anna feeling awkward. Notice the resemblance to the Olympics? It's impossible to not get emotional.
It's so unfair and ridiculous. Because Aliona is more comfortable than Sasha and Anna in the public eye and a little bit older I think people take her confidence the wrong way.The assessments of Alena's character are getting out of hand...
Is there a video of the victory ceremony?
