2019-20 Russian Ladies' Figure Skating

And those are under junior age skaters. I can't help but mention Tracy Wilson's note she made during canadian Nats ladies FS about how the work with the young skaters has paid off. It's not the work with the young skaters as the work with the young skaters I would say.

Pity I can't see the protocols, the link doesn't work.

Link to protocols corrected. These 11-12 year olds competed full difficulty programs a very large number of international seniors aren't capable of.

In two weeks Moscow Championships, where the Moscow quote to Junior Nationals will be filled.

Thanks. I see that Mark Lukin and Georgiy Kunitsa also won their categories as you've mentioned before.

:scratch2:
It's hard to understand what you meant by that. Nevertheless what she said means nothing for me. It's the same Tracy Wilson who heavily criticized Trusova's skating for lack of artistry - and the same Tracy Wilson who pours heaps of praises littered with "amazing!" and "beautiful!" towards CanNat ladies with their 90s-years-style two-foot skating in a circle past the music. Comparing to that - Trusova is just goddess of artistry - at least she has choreography.
Sorry, I can't respect hypocrites.

That's what I meant ;)
Her enthusiastic words sounded like a bad joke to me.

Trusova is planning 5 Quads in FP and 3A in SP.

Anna with 3 Quads if FP.

Alyona with 3A in SP and 2 3As in FP.

What's crazy is that despite the 3 quota restriction, skaters who are effectively Russian can sweep the top 6 at these Euros. Kurakova and Safonova represented the country initially while Ryabova was born, lives and trains in Moscow. Respectable "second podium" contenders who probably wouldn't break top 25 within the motherland. Add to that the 3A landing Shabotova for future competitions.

I hope that nobody has doubts that the red machine no longer steamrolls in the sport of hockey.

I don't know why people watch figure skating, but for me personally, there is nothing more interesting in ladies fs than watching Trusova going for quadfest

Alexandra is Ronnie O'Sullivan of ladies Figure Skating

It would be interesting if she could land all of those quads, which she cannot.

Does anyone know if Med petitioned for a spot at Europeans. Looking at the entry list, she's not even an alternate. I know she had to pull out of Nationals but, I'm surprised with her competitive record that they didn't give her a spot.

Well, she isn't really that competitive against the three Russian ladies that are going. RusFed went strictly by the results at Nationals and sent the three on top with Tuktamysheva and Guliakova as alternates (the next eligible seniors). Medvedeva lost all her chances when she pulled out of Nationals I'm afraid.

It would be interesting if she could land all of those quads, which she cannot.

If we assume she has a 80% success rate with her quads (which she hasn't), the chance of her to land all five quads is only 33%.
If Anna has as good a skate she had at Nationals it will be very difficult for Sasha to beat her. Even with five quads.

1. She has already demonstrated that she is capable of landing 4 quads and has landed all 5 in training (according to rumors, many times)

2. She is known to peak late in the season.

So lets wait and see.

i believe she will be done for the season based on her instagram post from WD at RusNats and will begin preparations for the fall, since she also announced new music.

There was at least one publicly available pre-run (RusNats?) where she did all the drill perfectly.
That's why TUT was so disappointed next day.

She has a 74% success rate on quads(which is more than Anna with her 63%).
At international competitions, Anna will not have scores as at Nationals and Sasha will have be enough a clean program with 4 quads to beat her(even with 2A in SP)
