Frangipani is doing his best this season. Its last performances were scored over 190 and it's the clear favorite for the junior title, with Grassl doing again only the senior event.

It seem too much for me to place a grudge on an athlete because of some childish reactions when it was 13/14 years old.

I agree, we are speaking about teenagers... Nobody of us was a model of self-control and maturity at this age. We all learn from our mistakes.

I know. I should cut him a bit more slack.

It may just have been his age, and hormones and all. But, on the other hand, being so hot-headed may be his natural personality. Time will tell.

I haven't seen much of him over the past couple of years, so he may have grown out of it already.

The only way to find out is to keep an eye on him over the coming years.

Who knows, my opinion of him could change during that time.

Hey, put it like this: I didn't like Tsurskaya when she first appeared on the Junior scene a few years ago. (Nothing to do with Polina personally. It was a combination of not liking the programmes, and the fact that she was always beating a skater that I liked a lot, i.e. Sotskova). But, she has since grown on me, and I really liked her this year.

Maybe the same will happen with Gabriele...

I had no idea Giada Russo switched to ice dancing! :shocked: But frankly it may be a good choice, she has all the artistry and musicality to sell, just couldn't jump. I am very curious to see how she develops in the new category, with a partner.

Piredda wasn't perfect but there's no competition.

Frangipani's superiority was even more obvious.

The pairs event was interesting, even if it's clearly a work in progress for everyone.

What i'm mostly waiting is the senior ladies competition, as it appear very unpredictable.

Despite all the Italian ladies have really improved. It was not so far away where the senior ledies SP didn't have more than 2-3 ladies scoring over 40 points and now we have 11 junior there
