Timing is very inconvenient as we have many italian entries for the GPF in Turin just a couple of days earlier, I am especially worried about Daniel Grassl as his program is very quad- heavy, but it won't be easy for pairs or Charlene and Marco either.

On Saturday and Sunday it is shown by RaiSport according to the Federation website. It may be geoblocked as it is a channel of the Italian state television.

Very late start to the first day of the Italian Championships, especially considering that there are 24 entries in this opening segment. (although, there have been 2 withdrawals from the final group, so we are down to 22 girls).

Poor LIU Siqi. She had a strange fall early on. And as she was coming off the ice, she looked like she was going to cry.

Fortunately, she hasn't (yet). But she looks very upset sitting waiting for her scores.



Ah, the coach is trying to distract her by showing her something on her phone. And it is working. She is smiling at it.

Unsurprisingly into 2nd, 13 points behind Bodrone.
