Yeah but the whole still recovering from COVID after months, all came from Plushenko, so we dont know how much of it is an excuse for the results
she was struggling to breath in the Kiss and Cry after RCF. She said her heartbeat was around 190 for the entire warmup of RCF. She needed Rozanov and Plushenko's help to get up from the Kiss and Cry after her FS. This does not look like an excuse to me!

And in addition, let's not forget that athletes like Viktoria Sinitsina and Anna Shcherbakova have also experienced struggles with breathing even though they have "recovered" from Covid months ago. Ice Dancer Anastasia Shpilevaya had to RETIRE due to complications with Covid.

This isn't a flu or a small cold. It's a life threatening illness.

I don’t like BE for figure skating either, but I think that program specifically was Aliona’s request. Not sure she has the same power to ask for things though, it’s basically like brexit.
She was in a much better position before and could demand or ask for some things, now it feels like she has lost a lot of that power being on a trial period.
I hope it works out for her, I really do. I missed old Aliona and her magic, I hope to see it again. Most of all, I hope she’s happy to be where she is :)
Yes, undoubtedly, she‘s lost all power. She‘ll have to shut up and do what they tell her, skate what they want her to. But we knew that before.

I‘m not worried about that. I am worried about Eteri‘s words on how she has to train at full speed everyday, no additional days off, regain 3A by the end of the season... again: she‘s still injured and suffers from COVID after effects. How is her body supposed to take that? And if she can‘t fulfill their obligations due to her health... then what? She‘ll have to leave again?

What are the chances they just make her keep last year's unused programs for the Olympic season? I mean if she doesn't and learns two new ones that'll be 8 different programs in one year?:ROFLMAO: (since I can't really see them letting her keep any programs she learned at AoP)
She will keep at least one program imo.

Daniil should make her keep at least one program. If it was me, i wouldn't have accepted that you wasted my time like that. Girl, you will use my work.

Oh my...I thought an important reason she left Eteri was because she doesn’t like training with younger kids...I guess lesson learned there

It's an outside chance, but if Aliona already paid for the new programs and dresses she could use them for the Olympics. Less work for Daniil this way.
This is the financial issues with plushy. They will not allow her to use these programs and I think Danny doesn’t want it

Training with "non-grata list".
Eteri likes to send messages.
To be fair, I think that's where her skating/fitness level is at the moment and she'll be moved up once she regains her former level (if she makes it through the trial period). I don't see anyone else starting directly in the senior group especially since there isn't a single skater in that group not landing any ultra-C elements besides Daria.

Injury is not really confirmed, i think she's just in bad form after her post COVID illness

She is going to have to eat a lot of crow now.

To be fair, she was the one that left, so she has to earn everyone‘s trust again. What are her options if it doesn’t work out there anyway.

I dont disagree that not allowing her jump 3a was wrong. But her not being to jump 3a, might be due to several reasons including her health, and another one might be the inexperienced coaches by her side
Considering that "hot" Sergei helped her learn it in the first place..I think he probably could have taught her how to get it back. She was landing it before she got COVID this season.

Poor Anna. These 3 weeks all the attention should be directed towards her in team tut because she's the only one going to Worlds. My poor girl deserves better than all these disturbances to her training.
You think Anna is distracted or cares in any way? It’s probably better for Anna anyway, she can quietly go about her work. Anna will be more than fine, she is a mental giant.

As I said

I don’t think it’s dependent on it, probably said just for TV, she likely just wants to ensure Aliona is disciplined and has a goal. I don’t think without 3A she’s gonna kick her out.
But until season end - that is enough time for Aliona to make Eteri warm up to her. So far seems like Diana has been helping to make up more than 1 break up with Eteri, I remember she also helped Polina to make it up with Eteri.

Trial period is something. It’s better than nothing. But props to Aliona’s bravery to go and ask Eteri herself. Probably wasn’t easy to go to her after what was said and done. Especially at her age.

Realistically, she probably would want Aliona to have 3A to show it next season, not just in training. If her health doesn’t allow it, I’m sure they’re going to take time. Based on what Aliona said, it looks like her stamina got worse mainly because of that training approach. I did feel like Plushenko’s words about her health are partly to excuse his own coaching failures, we don’t know what is going on with her health, Aliona does. If she thought she can’t do well just because of her health, I don’t think she would’ve gone back to Eteri, but would’ve stayed at AoP. It might be that the reason is that she doesn’t think it’s JUST the health that contributed to her results.
