Oh hey that's the second time I've seen you post Blackadder! You a fan?
I like it, too. I like such type of humour. Do you know the On The Buses? Or the Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

FFKKR I believe already has announced plans to introduce a fully competitive internal series of competitions.
But since their website still doesn't have the supposedly definite 2020/21 team selection, they haven't yet published a proposed calendar of events either.
First Test Skates, if there is still a need for those when senior GP also gets cancelled? Open to the public and media??
Everything is still up in the air it seems ...
It should be interesting but it's going to be so disappointing if we don't have a real season and since they just canceled the Junior Grand Prix the senior Grand Prix will not be far behind. I'm sure that means Challengers will be cancelled as well. Can Russia create their own Challengers that the isu would approve?
I think it’s too late in the game for that. Hopefully we can restart in January with Nationals, Euros, 4CC, and Worlds.

I am hoping that Russia will turn the Russian Cup series into a gigantic tournament and everyone will be there. And as they have a 14 year old rule for participating at Russian Nationals, Valieva, Usacheva etc. will be there too.

Wow, why are you exalt Alena so much? Please don't do that. This is offensive to other ladies who are no worse than her, and to those who are better, like Alina. And this is harmful for Alena herself, because you can see how she doesn't become stronger in PCS, but only weakens.
Probably not honestly. I regularly feel like I'm not watching the same skating most others in the fandom are. I don't see where all the artistry that people keep losing it over nowadays is, for instance.
I fully disagree that Kostornaia's junior programs show any artistry (her refinement, yes; they don't even show any artistry from the choreographer), and I can name 10 retired veterans who were better musically at 15 and 16 than her. Of the current ones, if we aren't talking about an age-to-age comparison, I can still name 4 or 5 people. At the same age, I can still probably name three. It is quite easy for me to look at her junior performances (and also current ones) and say that.. But if a fan thinks otherwise, you're allowed.
Kostornaia objectively has better posture, skating skills, and speed than Zagitova. She also has more graceful use of arms and hands.
I don't understand what is wrong with Alina's posture. And It is very controversial that Aliona is better than Alina in skating skills.:
1. Balance (Alina), rhythmic knee action and precision of foot placement (Aliona)
2. Flow and effortless glide (Aliona)
3. Cleanness and sureness of deep edges (Aliona), steps (Alina), turns (Alina)
4. Power/energy (Alina) and acceleration (Aliona)
5. Mastery of multi-directional skating (Alina)
6. Mastery of one-foot skating (Alina)
Alina has a much more adult presentation, her movements are more conscious. Aliona's movements and facial expressions are still more juniorish and has lack life in them.

Why don't we, with our pool of figure skaters, make our big competition out of the Russian Cup? It will be in no way inferior to the World Championship if you'd look at its entry-list. And among girls, the entry-list would be even stronger. If all this is conducted in good arenas with the coverage by 1TV channel, then such tournaments would be watched by millions.
People miss figure skating. I don't believe that any international competition is possible until next year. I'm pretty sure they won't be held. But we have a lot of skaters to make a competition of the “Grand Prix" level here in Russia.
how about we just enjoy what these 2 wonderful skaters bring to the ice instead?
you can argue this until you are blue in the face, but this is all matter of personal opinion for both of you.

I would be glad, but Aliona's fans constantly exalt her over the rest of the ladies.
