Why at the moment i would say the opposite. He now has 2 of the best skaters in his group , and he has veronika as a long term prospect.if he plays it right and if aljona and sasha actually
get even better under him than he actually wins over eteri. It could also go the other way and yes than he would loose badly

The only other thing that would completely surprise me if any of the other eteri ladies decide to change coaches too. But seriously if that were to happen then there would have to be something seriously wrong in eteris team.

Yes, that’s exactly my impression. Anna being treated like the “good, obedient” girl, with better programs, while the other two felt left behind. I don’t know if it’s true, but it’s my impression.

This is a big problem for a team when you coach 4 of the top 5 seniors in the world. You want to help each be the best, but inadvertently that means making decisions that might look to favor some over the others. I'm sure it was uncomfortable for Evgenia in 2018 seeing her coaches help Alina extract every point possible out of her programs. Med was probably thinking "hey, what are you doing to help me keep up?"

It's not the same. If you remember it was him who blamed other teams of corruption (you asked for evidence then). It was also him who started with that how skaters should be treated and that "come to me I have money" talks. Eteri then replied he didn't raise any champion yet. So, he is evidently trying to show he is capable of it.

But bashing the work of others is never a good start. And whatever people can object with Eteri I've never heard her taling the way "this team does awful choreo" or "that team treats its skaters bad".

A polite person (especially one that doesn't want to outright lie about something) would have said "It's a work in progress" and then avoided talking about it altogether instead of describing it in detail. As for being smart, we'll see by the end of this year, I think, won't we?

Of course... but why did she word it like that in her instagram post? It makes no sense but that‘s literally how she wrote it, with all the “she had a list of skaters non grata that‘s why we parted ways with her“. Making it sound as if it was THEIR decision all along, not Aliona‘s. Only to then reply in the comments that it was decided - by Aliona herself - two months ago. The whole story in itself is terribly inconsistent and simply illogical. I want a statement from Plushenko and Aliona but I fear that, especially the former‘s, will only confuse things further.
