For me best Aliona's program so far is the Adiós Nonino by Eteri, I don't think she got better program than that since then.
My favorite performance by Aliona ever is her angel SP from the Vancouver JGPF.
I think that was the first time I ever watched her skate and it was the junior program I rewatched most.

That's one of my favorites too. I had been following her performances since the beginning of that season, but that was the performance that made me fall in love with her skating

Or when people just groundlessly credit Rozanov far beyond his role in the team and with literally every merit of the team on the junior level, esp. the way where the two things exclude each other, attaching him the choreos he simply didn't do, tribute him for personal attendance at the events where he was not present at all, that's just lack of sense.

Once again, it is not belittling to say he didn't do what he didn't do. And while I already admitted I was wrong in one thing you have no problem with persisting on wrong claims.

I agree with what you are saying, but why are some people crying out about Rozanov? Let him prove himself. All coaches go through the first stages of their career where they are inexperienced, but a good coach is one who still takes their skaters to the top level in a healthy way, regardless of their past career. Even if he was only a novice coach before this point, so were many other well known coaches before they rose to the top!

This is true, and it's the best by a good margin, too. I thought her FS was somewhat boring that season, but this SP is clearly the best one and not cheesy / trying too hard, unlike the next SP for example. She's yet to have a good FS so hopefully the next one will be that.

I wouldn't mind if Eteri started choreographing some more programs, I think she's always gone a good job with them out of the ones I've seen.

I personally would love for Eteri to use some more outside choreographers every once in a while for her skaters. although her and Danny G’s choreo can be very good, sometimes it just misses the mark for me. I’d love to see Kostornaya work with Lori, Sandra, or Shae, and I think Shcherbakova would also do well with either Shae or Tom Dickson. This doesn’t have to be for every program, just once in a while. Working with multiple choreographers helps a skater to grow and see different approaches to choreography IMO.

I actually really liked her Stella's Theme and Twilight programs (and yes, I understand that Twilight was objectively bad but I still enjoyed it ) Romeo & Juliet was fine but it wasn't very memorable for me. I really hope both of her programs are great this year!

That program is a masterpiece, and the thing that gets my attention the most is her speed then. Her overall flow and speed and her spins were even faster than now.

I would like to see the 3 senior skaters collaborate with some other choreographers, however I think its unlikely to happen unless they leave Eteri which would surprise me for any of them or Daniil leaves. Daniil gets the job done he choreographs programs that rack up points, whether or not they are artistically pleasing or help a skater grow artistically is not the job he's paid to do, and the 3 senior skaters they have don't need much in the way of help with their second score.

I think there still can be a problem with the price. As fa as I know the choreo from a top choreographer can cost even 10.000$ and not every skater apart from those who already gained some prize money and endorsements can afford pay that prize twice every season.

The moderation of this forum is very strange. I was just looking for the only correct comment on the Rozanov thing here, namely the statement that NONE OF THE DISCUTANTS knows anything provable here, but everyone pretends to have the truth. What can I say? It was deleted. However, other abstruse contributions still exist. Can anyone explain that to me? Did I just overlook the post? Then the moderation is of course not to blame!

It is simply the fact that insinuations and allegations are defended here that are devoid of any basis.
The only reliable statement that we have here is that of Trusova himself:
Sorry, what? I think Sasha knows better who trained her for this tournament. In a recent interview to the question (What was the most memorable tournament for you?) she answered: "The most memorable tournament was junior worlds 18. It took a long time to prepare, all the coaches, except for Sergei Alexandrovich Rozanov, were at Olympics. We were preparing two quads for the world championship, before worlds we had the Russian Cup final, there I tried two quads for the first time".
I think it is clear that in the 17-18 season the main coaches were busy preparing for the Olympics (in February they were not at all in Khrustalny). Rozanov was with Sasha at all Russian Cup stages and spent the most time with her in training(like with Kamila and Daria this season). Sasha's 4T is largely his merit.

Edit: And of course, I forgot Sasha's words on Instagram about importance of Sergei in her career "Special thanks to Sergey Rozanov for his work and faith in me. He says little about himself, preferring deeds and not big words, but without his painstaking and honest work, there would be no achievements and victories. At the decisive moment, he offered me his shoulder, he is my reliable friend."

Strangely enough, all the know-it-all are not interested in it. I think I know the reason. They know that it is true, because if it hasn't been true, Team Tut would have resisted it immediately.

I don’t know which comment you were talking about, but my comment saying that none of us are insiders at Team Tutberidze and that I was just saying my impression is not here anymore.

I’ll post it again, anyways, cause I’m against blind censorship - you there, the ones who say Rozanov was unimportant for Team Tutberidze - are you insiders at Sambo70?

Do you attend their practices?

Do you know any of the people who train/work there in person?

So how can you so vehemently say what we’re saying is not true?

I mean, I have no idea if it is or not, but neither do you.

Get over it, Team Tutberidze is not flawless.

Thank you. I meant this post. Is this still there? Then I probably have tomatoes on my eyes and the moderation is not to blame. :)

It would be interesting to compare programs choreographed by Eteri vs Daniil and see which ones were the most succesful/liked.

I think Polina’s Light of the Seven GOT program was choreographed by Eteri and I would consider that one of the best/most successful programs coming out of their camp. I think it was also well liked amongst other fans, but if anyone disagrees lmk!

Problem is they both insist on that it is their joint work. "Sometimes I find the music he makes the story or just I make the story he finds the music...". In some modifications they say it everytime. Sometimes we talk about particular programs as a work of mostly one of them, like Aliona's Adios Nonino was a work of Eteri and Stella's Theme was the work of Daniil, but even about that they talk as about the work of both of them. Though I bet Kamila's Girl on a Ball is mostly Eteri's work

I also think Eteri is the one who is more into what kind of music is more proper for a particular skater.
