I'm not sure how they're doing it this year. Usually, junior skaters who are domestically senior-age eligible can qualify to junior nationals by competing on the JGP, and senior nationals by either qualifying to the JGP Final or competing as a senior in two events in the Russian Cup series. Since there's no JGP, it seems like junior skaters will have to compete at two junior Russian Cup events and two senior ones in order to have a chance to qualify to both nationals. Maybe national team members will get a bye?

Oh that's tough, it thought that maybe skaters who qualify for Senior Nats will get a bye for the Junior one, but that would be pretty risky for the skaters too.

For that matter at last tests skates aljona also had no 3a, i mean we all knew it would probably not be ready now so soon at tests skates so itsgood for her that after the testskates she does have time before her russian cup events.

I would like you to tell me, please, which are the most important skating schools in Russia. And who are the owners?

And the insider was in St, Petersburg, at Khristalny and at AP's rinks?
From what i understand the girls are probably already at the arena , and did have training today and mabye even yesterday on the ice together? Thats why i asked the original poster if this is an insider who is at megasport and saw the trainingsm because if not and if the girls arentthere yet than i would not give much about this insider. Because zhenyas jumps didnt look so bad in the clip that wasreleased yesterday which showed her in early august

No everyone is in Novogorsk right now. Several skaters are still in Moscow, not everyone arrives for the first two practices in Novogorsk each year, some only arrive on the last day of practice. Kostornaia, Tuktamysheva and Trusova arrived in Novogorsk a few days ago, the rest is unknown/hasn't arrived yet.

"not good" is also related to jumps

I think yes
What do you mean you think? Sorry but if those arent infos from the training that may have happened at megasport than those insiderinfos are not really worth mhch. Cause i dont know anyone who is an insider in all those different rinks, that info also could be a bit old too, none of the big skating fan websites have any info about trainings or as someone just posted if all the skatersare there yet. So can you give us a link or something for said insider info?

Ok sorry didnt know that i assumed they wereall there and had trainings these past 2 days. So if its not from these last days than i would give not that much about the apparent insider. For that matter personally i donot expect any of those skaters to be in top form, but againsome skatershad more ti e to train than others which probably also shows

Rumours are rumours for a reason, because they are not based on factual evidence. I have seen so many "rumours" this week that went from "Anna cannot land her Quads" to "Everything is fine". I doubt anyone outside of the rinks knows in what condition each skater is.
Last year, an insider announced that one of the 3A was dissatisfied and wanted to leave TT (I think the name Sasha was mentioned, but I can't remember exactly). It was also called "rumors!" Because nobody wanted to believe it.

Which is not a proof that all of the rumours are true.
What about "Shcherbakova has no quads anymore" rumour then?

It's not necessarily rumors but an account of what was seen yesterday or today, similar to my response about "shcherbakova having trouble landing her quads" last week - everyone has off days in practice.

But then, too... "Don't myths have basis in fact?"

I think myths are what people takes as a fact, not what the facts really are.
But i believe those 'rumours' about training sessions are probably true. Which is not always the best indication how the competition will go.

According to insider's info: Alena - problems with jumps, 3A not restored, Sasha - no problems, Anya - no problems, Liza - not good, Zhenya - not good.

Hmm. I’m glad that Anya is good. But how valid is this info? Because a couple of weeks ago at SPB test skates Liza skated a clean SP with 74 points with 3A< (under but landed) 3Lz+3T and 3F with no edge call and a decent +1.41 GOE. But in the free skate she did have problems and got 119 points (54 TES). And what do they mean by Zhenya not being good?
We’ll soon see though
