No. But when I see unknown Russian word in these comments, I check it in the dictionary. :)
Edit: For example there is a special Russian word that Russians often use to describe Rozanov. They often say that he is handsome, yes, but there is this special Russian word which describes him as a "Backstreet boy" looking guy.

Did you read about him fan fictions? Romantic novel or ....... :wink: That is something!

No.... :( I hate fan fictions. It is so disgusting, however, I saw the titles of several fan fictions about him written in Russian. About Sergei and Daniil. :D About Sergei and Eteri. Sergei and Alina. Daniil and Eteri. So on...
I read mainly in the comment section of sports.ru and youtube.

There is a rumour about Medvedeva's WD from RC 2nd stage due her spine injury. :frown:
Oh, no. :( Maybe they cannot prepare so soon. :( I hope that GP Russia is enough for qualification.
I tried to find news about that, but I could not. Instead I found pictures of her father?!?

well, Victor Adoniev gave in the summer this very big and detailed interview, where he says:

==========
.....I used to work with her a lot - when Tutberidze asked her to leave the group. I also left at that moment, and Anya and I worked a lot.

- Wow ... I've never heard of this fact.

- I don’t think anyone will be surprised that we then collaborated with Anya. We worked together with Artemy Punin - he was engaged in her jumps. It was he who put the triples of Shcherbakova, and not anyone else. Punin, by the way, is also a pupil of Tutberidze.

So, he put on jumps, and I was engaged with programs and skating skills with Anya. It was after this that Eteri Georgievna again took Shcherbakova to her group.
.
.
-What did Anna know before leaving the group?

-She jumped doubles and double axel, but there were serious mistakes, and no one wanted to deal with this. The coaches had someone else to work with at that time, and there was no point in wasting time with Anya.

- And in which group was Shcherbakova before returning to Tutberidze?

- In none. Her parents paid for private lessons - that was all.

- At the "Crystal"?

- No. We worked with her on skating rinks in Snezh.kome and in Kommunarka.

This was in 2014-2015. And at the end of that season - in 2015 - Anya came to Tutberidze with all the triples. They took her right there.
==================

Why would anybody want to claim to have taught sherbakova her triples.... 😂😂😂. He's to blame for her technique

:))) actually he is not, at least not for the jumps - he said that he was in charge for the skating skills, but for the jumps - Artemy Punin, who was a disciple of Tutberidze 😅😅😅

If she's still injured then she needs to withdraw spine injuries are serious issues, it would be a stretch for her to win and advance to whatever European/Worls competition might happen even if she's healthy, it would be incredibly dumb to go out and risk further injury to her spine.

Well he's a new coach why wouldn't he be flaunting a connection to the 2-time defending national champion and strong contender for another national title plus contender for the Olympic team?

Hate on her technique all you want but it's been sufficient at getting her onto the top of maybe the most difficult podium the last 2 years in a row.

Comments on sports.ru and youtube?
Better than fan fiction - but only by a miniscule fraction. So tiny that the difference is only noticeable when read at 0.25 speed.

Hmm... I can notice bad flip and bad lutz even in regular speed...
Edit: Yes, Julia jumped lutz with minimal pre-rotation. Much better technique than Michelle Kwan and Sasha Cohen.

Why would Anna leave Eteri? She has good programs that fit her, and a training regimen that works for her, too. She’s Eteri’s #1. Though the fed may be pushing Kamila, I actually think Anna’s maturity, musicality, and all of her strengths still stand very strong beside Kamila, as seen at test skates. It’s Daria, who has terrible programs, and maybe not a training regimen that fits her, and is clearly being pushed aside in favor of Kamila, who should leave.
It will be very interesting to see how the RusFed will judge Kamila against the 3A at Nationals. Can Anna get her third title? Can Sasha or Alëna rise to the occasion? Or will Kamila outscore them all...

Yes, this is worrying. If Medvedeva is injured she shouldn't skate at all. It was painful to see her at Test Skates, and I don't want to see that again.
