The point of the question was if you can do a programme without the layback position, and the answer is that you can. The specifics for SP are: one flying spin (with landing position different than in spin in one position), one spin in one position as layback/sideways leaning, or sit or camel spin and one combination spin with the change of foot. So you can do one camel spin, one sit or upright spin (one of them with the flying entrance) and use just basic upright position (and not layback) in the combination spin.You can't do an upright spin in the SP for ladies skating. It'll need to be a flying upright. (Page 8, Short Program)
