TeamTut knows how to polish the rough diamonds :)

here's Dasha in Mar'2020

and here she is after 2 months with TeamTut:

The girl is verry cute and deffenetly have something special that Im sure team Tutberidze will help bring out but I just cannot get over how much I hated that leatard. Pls give the girl soething else to wear that doesnt highlight the butt in bright white that doesnt match the white on the top. And either remove the skirt or make it more substancial and less flimsy.

Anyway good luck to her and the rest of the last group that starts now!

Edit. Thankfully she wore another dress today. The mirror shards along the back and neck where not my fave but a huge improvement on the leatard.

Shame about Zhilina's errors but she is a great skater.

They need to polish her Stsq especially her turns because there are instances that she looks like she is going to fall on her turns.

Yes, she has something very special..

Akatieva has a cute program but not my fav.

After the big elements she pretty much checked out.
Yes the second half fell apart a bit today. I dont know if it was a stamina issue or a concentration one but she seemed really disapointed in herself (who else would look on the verge of tears after a score of 231?).
Overall I think I prefered the short at least at this competition. That program is probably no masterpice but she impressed me so much with her skating skills in the short. her speed and glide is just phenomenal. And the edges are so deep. Look at the clusters for example where she in 3 turns covers almost half of the ice surface and allmost seem to accelerate as she does it. After yesturday i felt like she was the team Tutberidze skater with the best skating skills including all the juniors/seniors. Today was not as brilliant but I think she lost the spark when she fell on the 3lz.

Does anyone kow why Muravieva withdrew? And is it possible for her to compete in the last stage? If she cant it looks unlikely she will make it to nationals despite having one bronse medal and was pretty well setup to get anotheone here...
Unless they sub her in of course...

She even had a chance to grab the silver

Edit: Didn't she get silver from that last outing. Which stage was that? I seem to remember a tight battle with Berestovskaya for gold, which the latter won. Stage 2?

So for junior Nationals I think it was said that the junior skaters that compete in the senior cup would get to Junior nats as well so that would be Valieva, Usasheva and Kromych. (Thechnicaly Frolova and Tarakanova have also skated junior last season but I dont think there is anything in it for them to go here and be beaten by the likes of Sofia A, Sofia S and Liza B).
I also expect RusFed to find a way to sub Sofia S in. I think she is part of the junior team (or is it novice) and it would be really unfortunate if one of the medal contenders missed the event due to a verry ill timed injury right before the qualification...
Then there is 14 spots left to be grabbed in the junior cup

Standings in the Junior cup:
1 Akatieva, 36pts , 462,28 tot score
2 Beretsovskaya, 34pts, 406,61
3 Zakharova, 30pts, 373,88
4 Ovchinnikova, 28pts, 377,28
5 Paramonova, 24pts, 362,49
6 Sviridenka, 20pts, 348,41
7 Petrosyan, 18pts, 207,18
8 Lagutova, 18pts, 349,11
9 Zhilina, 16pts, 197,45
10 Dimitrieva, 16pts, 339,93
11 Muravieva, 16pts, 199,10 (Withdrew today. Can she make it up at 5th stage?)
12 Gorbachyova, 14pts, 193,68
13 Sadkova, 14pts, 341,99
14 Osokina, 12pts, 182,28
15 Morosova, 12pts, 171,10
16 Liventseva, 8pts, 168,66
17 Latushkina, 8pts, 156,65
18 Lobodoba, 6pts, 168,36

Skaters marked in bold are the ones that only have one result and should have a chance to perform at the last stage. If we assume all of the ones that I marked bold competes at the last stage and scores there I expect the cut of to be at either 18pts or 16pts

You are right it was a silver but I dont know which stage it was... My guess is second. I think Akatieva won the first, Beretsovskaya the second and petrosyan the third.

Yes, this is correct

By the way, I do think Anna Frolova will take part in Junior Nationals, just in case she makes the team to Junior Worlds, which probably will never take place, but who knows. She is not a proper senior yet

My predictions for who goes to Nationals

Group1: Valeva, Usasheva, Kromykh, Akatieva, Beretsovskaya, Samodelkina
Group2: Petrosyan, Zhilina, Muravieva (if they sort out the WD situation), Zakharova, Gorbachyova, Osokina,
Group3: Paramonova, Sviridenka, Lagutova, Morosova, Ovchinnikova, Dimitrieva/Liventseva/Latshukina/Lobodoba

I must admit that I dont know any of the girls in this last group but they have scores ranging from 190-160

Sadkova doesn't seem to have a chance. I wonder will she get enough spring time opportunities to show her improvements for the possible JGP2021 inclusion.

The way I see it Sofia A, Sofia S, Nika Zhilina, Liza B, Adelia are strong candidates to make the JGP2021 team. Then there's at least Osokina, Muravyova, Alina G, Maria Z ahead of little Dasha

I guess she can but she is a second year senior this season right and especially since junior worlds is unlikely I just dont see the point in goinng there and placing 5th-9th.

Skaters that will probably outscore her:
Kamilla, Sofia A, Sofia S, Daria U

Skaters with potential to outscore her:
Adelya, Liza B, Maiia, Veronika Z

I think she is better of establishing herself as a senior skater and hoefully get a GP placement next season.

No Sadkova has 14pts and that wont be enough for junnior nats. But there is Elder and younger age Novice nats where she should be able to compete and since they are later in the season I think it might be better for her anyway since it will give her more time to work on jump consistency which was her problem today.

For JGP spots next season there are usualy spots for about 8 skaters
Sofia A, Sofia S, Liza B, Adelya and Veronika Z should be a given.
I would not be surprised if Maya stays in junior another season but we will see.
That leaves 2-3 spots and at the moment its probably Osokina, Muravieva, Gorbachyova and Zakharova who are the top contenders for those spots. There is of course lots of time left until any decisions can be made and a lot of things can change until then
