I feel like generally a lot of things coming from Russia get entirely misunderstood because of translation issues. I think russian as a language is super complex, there's such a variety of expressions and it is so rich with different phrases and words with multiple meanings, where sometimes someone doesn't mean to say anything bad, but with literal translation is sounds bad, and on the opposite, it can be that something sounds ok translated, but russian speaker would be able to tell that person meant to throw shade. Like the phrase 'her Zagitova' sounds normal and I can't explain why it's shady, but a Russian would be immediately able to tell that it wasn't meant it a good way.I did officially messed up with MY translation.![]()
I personally just find it amazing
