Three Eteri girls withdrew previously, and there are other girls here clearly from the senior cup. I'm not sure it's this simple.

Do we know why Maiia Khromykh isn't participating in Junior Nats? She's not doing the team competition like Kamila and Daria are.

It looks like team competitions in tennis, where the captain is not a player but a coach, the one making decisions.

I've found the final standings lists. Actually Daria would make it she was 16th, but three girls from senior cup went to juniors (Kostina, Molchanova and Frolova). For complex picture, junior and senior cup stages final standings:

Probably because she already knows she has GP spots for next season. No reason to hang around with the juniors anymore. She is competing in that other competition (not the team event) at the same time as well.

Would be pretty sad if Muravyova didn't make it considering that her one competition she scored higher than Zhilina in either for example, and Zhilina qualified 3rd.

Of course. If they had identical rules(Quads in SP, 1.0 PCS factor instead of 0.8) I have no doubt that girls would actually outperform boys in a straight up competition anyway.Guys, I know we all love our Russian girls, but do you think they could beat the guys fo real?
At junior nationals, it's possible that'll happen even without them having identical rules.

What's so funny about Russian legend's doing exo skates? Alina isnt competing and Zhenya is not ready to compete do to a bad back lung issue and having covid. Seeing them skate in exo skates is better than nothing.

Honestly I get your point but maybe they could still put Nastya in. She's only 18 and needs a competition.Tsibinova, Molchanova and Kostina? Okay, Kostina is 15, but I'm not a fan of these girls taking up spots. Though I do like them. Molchik especially.

With the 3Lutz? 4Lutz he apparently has even dropped because his success rate was 10% or something. Although it's IMO the prettiest 4Lutz in the world if it's landed.But come on, Kolyada with his lutz is gonna eat Sasha, Anna, Kamila and Liza on breakfast, isn't he?
Dont know why the other poster thinks its funny, but I think it's going to be a stark reminder of how uncompetitive they truly are in comparison to the ladies in the jump competition. Though we'll probably be subjected to some of their uber fans swearing right and left that they are still a threat for making the Olympic team which will be a bit humorous to see the uber fans make that stretch.
There was video floated around earlier in the season of him practicing it, but yes landed is the big key
