There are many comments about Nikita, though numerous of them seem not very postive (maybe people were disappointed he didn't throw his shoes on anyone :) ).
That explains why the video has so many dislikes

Zagitova needs to drop down to attempting doubles or go to the Sasha Cohen school of performing exhibitions where you're so mesmerizing you don't need jumps and people forget you didn't do any jumps; saw 3 jump attempts with 3 really ugly falls.
People are freaking out sooo unnecessarily over this.

It's fine. It's a show.

She can land them otherwise they wouldn't put them in. Eteri's not stupid. Neither is Alina.

But also she hasn't even tried to be in competitive shape since December 2019. So it's pointless and stupid to compare her condition to Kamila and Daria (and Sofia) who just finished a competitive season and are obviously in competition shape. It's also stupid to compare her condition to Aliona because while she's still recovering she's also closer to competition shape. Even Evgenia was trying to compete as recently as September.

Besides we don't know how much time she had to prepare. Kamila, Daria, Sofia, Aliona, etc. we've seen them skating, practicing etc for this. We haven't seen Anna but we know she had World's and still has WTT.

(As a side note: You can tell Anna is less prepared for this because she was gone.)

It's fine. You don't need to be in competition shape when you're not competing. It's stupid to expect her to be.

Remember even with COVID a lot of the skaters lost their jumps - regardless of if they had it or not just because of the long time off the ice - it's actually a lot of the reason Aliona left in the first place. It's silly to expect Alina to be 100% on jumps for a SHOW. Especially because her jump content for her exhibition includes 3Lz and 3F attempts - those aren't easy jumps. (We've watch competition ready World's competitors fall on those jumps.)

It's a show. People are there to watch her (and the others) because they love them and want to see them.

EDIT: Also you must have missed the jump she DID land. You must also have missed the interview with Evgenia afterwards where she said that in rehearsal it did NOT go well. Implying she fell on her jumps. It's almost like it's difficult to get your triples when you're not in competition form (and even when you are.)

As long as Alina isn't hurting herself (and that also applies for all of them, especially ones like Kamila and Sasha who are doing quads in exhibition), it's fine.

Also it's completely stupid to judge jumps by how one does them in the dark, with a spotlight.

We want Anna, though that "old guy" is Nikita Michalkov, quite famous movie director. :)

Whole Urgant here, Anna appears after 35:00.

Anna gets played in by a jazz rendition of the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto, Russia's new national anthem.

It was kind of charming to see in that other talk show with Anna -- the one with Mishina/Galliamov, Katsalapov/Sinitsina, Daniil, etc. -- when they showed the medal ceremony from the ladies' event, but muted and with the real national anthem played over it instead of the Tchaikovsky. A second chance, as it were.

My post wasn't to reference about her competition shape but about 3 ugly falls (many would refer to them as Pogorilaya style splats) in meaningless exhibitions but you still risk injury. Its exhibitions drop them down to doubles (less risky) or do the exhibitions without jumps at least after the 2 really bad falls in her first performance she should have removed the remaining jumps as it was clear they at least weren't working today. I referenced Sasha Cohen because she had exhibitions where she didn't do any jumps but her performance was so mesmerizing (at least to me) that you didn't notice there were no jumps and you didn't miss them. As you said its exhibitions (though that's all she's been performing in for roughly 18 months so she should be used to jumping in show style lights) there's no reason to try to be jumping like the others are because they are still striving to compete. Sure she doesn't have to worry about missing competitions due to injury, but last time I checked, you don't get a brand new body when you are done competing, injuries of your youth can lead to horrible pain the rest of your life.
