Not a fan of the music but Aliona's presentation is really second to none here. She knows how to perform and relate to music. I'm not sure she should be in first but I'm not going to give the judges heck for it.

I'm curious for the protocols today. Honestly it looked to me that Sasha's edge on the Flip was outside, but I'll have to rewatch it. But my personal positions would be Sasha 1st, Maiia 2nd, Aliona 3rd.

Just looking at it. After rewatching the Flip I'm OK with the !, but Aliona's combo surely shouldn't receive positive GOE, that's not right. Wonder whether we will hear complaints about the scoring now.

Personally, I think if Maiia lands the quad (or Aliona falls on the 3A and she is clean), she can get the silver. I don't think anyone can challenge Sasha for the gold.

Aliona is good no doubt, but the judges favoured her too much. If scored correctly she should be behind the other two today.
