That was something I was thinking about overnight. Whether the results of this season's ISU Game should be declared now, or whether to wait until we see if Worlds does get rescheduled.
Given the uncertainty over whether a rescheduling will happen, and the potential time-scales involved if it does, I am leaning towards declaring now.
As for the thread, that took some thinking through as well. Because, if the World Championships do get rescheduled, it is highly unlikely to be the exact same line-up of participants. Some skaters will have retired; some may have get injured in the meantime; some partnerships will have broken up; some new partnerships will have formed.
So, I think this would be the best way forward:
The results of the 2020 ISU Predicions Game will be declared based on the standings after Four Continents.
If the 2020 World Championships does get re-scheduled, it will become the opening round of next season's ISU Game (so two World Championships in the one Game). And we will start from scratch with a new thread.
I will leave this thread open until the time it was due to be closed next Wednesday, so that you guys can give your opinions on my proposals. And then the formal announcements will be made. (And hopefully the loose ends from the Junior Game will have been tied up in the meantime).
So, I guess all that is left to say is: see you all for the 2020 Junior Grand Prix Predictions Game! (Assuming everything has settled down by then).
