I wouldn't want to be a judge in synchro! Do they each have a segment of the ice surface to watch, or what? It seemed as if every time someone fell, or the commentators said there had been a few errors, I was looking elsewhere and missed it. They must have eyes on swivel stalks

A bit sad because it signals the true end of season. Over the moon for the Haydenettes!! During the FP I only saw one man but I believe there are two on the team.. at least there were two when they lined up for scores.. I really like their presence in the mix. I assumed the second man was one of their required (I think) substitutes. For many of the teams I watched, their subs, all in costume and make-up of course, came out on the ice to take part in the bows and then joined them on the "kiss and cry stage".

It's the technical panel that calls the falls. I found the Handbook for Technical Panels (here), one technical specialist is designated to call them it looks like.

Yeah. It must take some training to get used to calling for synchro. Any of them can call for reviews at least in case they miss it. Plus if someone is skating to catch up to the group after a fall, that would probably get noticed as well.

And I've been asked to sing it at men's funerals a LOT, by their daughters who only knew it was a father-daughter thing but didn't know the plot or the lyrics in English. I didn't bother to enlighten them, just agreed it was a pretty song and did as I was asked.

was seeing the FS of Ice United and isn't bad their FS but fallen on stereotype about Brazil , sad because associate Brazil with Carnaval is the typical stereotype and is bored

Ice on fire FS i liked it a lot in spite that one of the skaters lost synch. on a moment , is nice and the music is like an invitation to relax , that music is always appealing and communicates feelings too

I had a lot of fun watching the short program on my birthday, I'm a little late today, but at least I saw those cool Swedes.

Team Inspire with their somersaults in the intersection Shame about the falls, I liked their program a lot (thanks for using parts of the Matrix soundtrack other than Clubbed To Death!) and they took risks with it.

Those somersaults looked great in slo-mo. An innovative team I look forward to watching progress.
