Fully rotated and one foot landing? The only notable lady at the Ariel Challenge is Paige Ryberg. She just did a 3-Eu-3; unsure of which triples she did. She also attempted a 4T; had a step out.
Underrotated and fall out. She didn't fall. But her lower triples are beautiful.Fully rotated and one foot landing?
Yes, I was actually quite impressed by the quality of her jumps. She is not competitive in the US for national teams or international assignments but she has nice SS and lovely technique on her jumps.Underrotated and fall out. She didn't fall. But her lower triples are beautiful.
Isabeau is a lovely, polished-Cohenesque type skater, but her speed and jump quality is still very much junior level. Since she won junior ladies last year she will probably compete as a Senior at Nationals. Mia might stay a Junior for another year, she too is very much junior level. The Junior ladies event at Nationals should be a great one this year, with a great glimpse into what we can expect in the next quad. Will Isabeau and/or Mia compete at Senior Nats this year? They could be real factors considering they’re consistent on all their triples and are now attempting quads. PCS will rise to be competitive [enough] as the season progresses.
Yay Mia!!! I hope someone filmed her FS and Quads
I don’t disagree, but it doesn’t really matter. Alysa competed at Senior Nats before she even entered juniors internationally. She lacked many things in PCS, but she still competed in Senior Nats and did well. Isabeau in particular could go senior internationally the year after this upcoming Olympic season, so it’d be quite normal for her to compete at Senior Nats this year.Isabeau is a lovely, polished-Cohenesque type skater, but her speed and jump quality is still very much junior level. She has her 3a and 4lz back. Her jumps seem to have more amplitude and distance and the speed going into them has increased quite a bit.Does Alysa have her ultra jumps back to the point where she could have an outside shot at the Olympic podium? Hoping so and hoping shes through puberty.
Gracie! I am so there. Any word on the men?According to TSL's latest video, Gracie, Alysa, and Bradie have signed up for Cranberry International.
Awesome! Thank you.She has her 3a and 4lz back. Her jumps seem to have more amplitude and distance and the speed going into them has increased quite a bit.
I'm very dissapointed that Bell isn't in A team.
She did win Skate America after all...
Unfortunately, Mariah had a disappointing outing at Nationals. It was a surprise because she was so amazing the year before. After Skate America, I thought this might be her year to win it all. I hope she comes back motivated and stronger than ever. She'll need to be great to make the Olympic Team and she's been so close that I'd hate to see her miss out.I'm very dissapointed that Bell isn't in A team.
