Wow, Timofey's layback position. And another fun program! The boys' programs are much more interesting and diverse than the girls', convince me otherwise.
But I fear little Timofey will get a time violation, even though the pocket watch featured so prominently on his costume.
 
Kirill Sarnovsky was underscored, he got less in PCS for his FS than at JGP. Why? Punishiment for a bad SP? He keeps improving, certainly not doing anything to justify a drop in the score. I hope the Russian judges don't have it in for him for some reason or other.

Kirill!! I caught up on the Angels as soon as I woke up (is this healthy? :laugh:)

Very happy to see Maxim A's improvement, last competition I saw him at (which might not have been his actual last competition) he was really struggling. Although without the BOX I couldn't tell tell if he got any V's on his spins. Still, he's a tall fellow, so go him.

Awww, Kirill! 🥰 We may never know what went down in the SP since the stream died before he went (I guess there's the pdf of the scores, but I'm too lazy to look at them), but a lovely FS! The music is so striking! He was way more onto the choreo this time yay!

I was rather surprised to see the PCS as it flashed across the bottom of the screen. Hopefully it was just a blip.

Nikita S has also improved a lot! Getting into the final group is pretty wow for him. Plus I'm into his choreo.

I was watching the whole last group but then it skipped the second last guy to Mark!

He's looking much better too! But OMG it has come to pass, he won! He's still listed as skating for Crystal though, so what happens now? Who gets the Coach Certificate? Or does Sergei A suddenly become their employee for three seconds? The mind boggles and the stream never told :p

(Well went to look at the .pdf of the SP at its not there, so we really will never know...)

3Aq fall, 3Lz+2t<, also StSq2. Kirill seems to have trouble pulling himself together after falls. Someone mentioned that the Moscow judges specifically don't seem to like Kirill. Mark did well, hopefully it'll raise his confidence. Nikita is improving but the judges are not yet noticing.

Irina Sharova the photographer mentioned on the Russian message board that they called Sergey Dudakov as Lukin's coach at the victory ceremony, who of course wasn't there. Awkward. No idea who got the coach certificate in the end, maybe they just kept it.

Nikita really impressed me from the moscow championships yesterday and he did well here as well. Makar Puzin is doing so well this season and he just did a clean 3lz-3lo! Arseny also landed his 3A and went clean which means he has landed every 3A he has attempted this season after he got his 3A which is very impressive! These young Russian junior/novice men are so Impressive!
