This is the elements portion of the competition! An interesting, but long day as I think they do jumps first then spins and footwork.

What happened to Alena Prineva she started the season with really great form and her jump were big, her skating explosive and she was stable in general but as the season has progressed she has struggled a lot with not only her jump as they are have become so tiny and so labored but she struggles to stay on her feet on the rest of the program as well? An injury maybe?

Very well done, since this is like her first competition this season.

They still haven't fixed the BOX though...

Has Alena Zhilina been dealing with an injury or something? She hasnt competed at all this season and her jumps are not great as she struggles to stand on any of them and her speed in non existent, I know she has never been one of top girls in her age group but I remember her being better than this???

I think I read something about a knee injury on the Russian FSCool board, so I guess she has.

All things considered I thought she did a good job.

Although I have to head to bed soon - work tomorrow.

Also while they're fixing the BOX they should do something about the audio, it's hard to hear the music!

I've more or less stopped following women's skating due to the constant drama, but today I had the Moscow girls on in the background and I admit, Alyona Krivonosova is a proper firecracker! So what more to say but Go Moskvich girls!

Something is wrong with Zhilina sisters' psychological approach to competitions.
They are brilliant technically, showcasing insane skills in those instagram videos, but when tournament day arrives they start making mistakes. And it's like that for last two years...
