His PCS is insane. Very high GOE, totally clean, all level-4 spins and step sequence. 100.92, into 3rd

LOL my mother is going insane, she loves Jason and is screaming he should be ahead of Nathan. I’ve tried to explain quads to her but she won’t hear it.

Solid skate by Chen! The jump landings weren’t quite the quality he’s capable of but the transitions into them are harder than before. I also think he seemed a bit tight and tentative in the first half and I would love to see the interpretation of that amazing step sequence brought to the rest of the program. He didn’t seem to have his usual speed either and I would have had the PCS around 45ish.

Zhou was just absolutely lovely to see... that quad lutz and salchow were a beaut and he has clearly worked on his speed, edges and projection. PCS was super high (maybe more around 43-44) but there’s so much improvement. He’s less awkward than I recall. Definitely a statement that he’s not about to give up the World bronze without a fight.

Brown as usual, incredible skating. Love this program. That walley entry into that flip was just perfect. And such spring in that lutz. A bit wild in the step sequence but that final pose. Stunning. Even though his program is far easier without a quad, he worked every point out of that. For a debut program it wasn’t bad and there were minor areas of improvement (PCS of 47ish would have been more appropriate, for me) but that was pure skating.

This is looking like Jason's year. I was impressed with Japan's Worlds team, but if Worlds happens, and it's Jason, Nathan, and Vincent, this is going to be an insane event.
