Pate & Bye are one of those teams who will pioneer new material that will be copied and improved.

USFS Dance Officials: How can we push forward the art of ice dance to keep it from becoming stale and losing the interest of our fans? Any innovation in music or programs will be met with resistance and likely need lots of revision to become any good. What team would risk flopping like that when they could stay with the tried and true judges favorites?

I kind of wonder if they're holding B/S above W/C since the latter is skating junior internationally - we'll see if the standings shift next year. B/S aren't bad by any means though, and with them being so new, I expect improvement...
